Omar Cook is a hot head, eventhough anyone out there is an improvement to Brunson I don't feel it would be a good move to trade for him.

HOWEVER, Satterfield hasn't been signed by the Mavs yet and if they get Timmy they might opt not to with Nash, Amin , Hardaway and Martin , Satterfield would be the odd man out.

Maybe St. John's will take him back.

Omar Cook entered the draft and was drafted. He also has an agent and is officially a pro. You can't just return to the NCAA like that. He's stuck in the big league and has to make a living. Definetly a guy who needed another year of schooling. He's got the talent, but not the maturity he needs in the NBA. Maybe he'll develop it in some time.

is everyone forgetting we have ward, jackson, and eisley now. thats 15 mil right there on 3 avg point guards. but i think jackson will do better thsi year, esp if we go more uptempo, hell start avging upwards of 8 apg like he did in toronto.

Blade, all these talks is assuming we get rid of Ward of Jackson for an inside player.

Indeed assuming Ward or Jax will go out for a big guy in return and maybe finally get rid of Brunson

then

and the only

we might go after shandon, omar or kenny..

Hey knicksbabyyeah. Good to see you here.

Another Shandon on the team? Which are you talking about?

Is anyone else thinking that Brunson has long outlived his time to be called a developmental 3rd point guard? I mean how much work do you have to see a guy put in with little or no improvement before telling him that he just isn't going to make it? Time to move onto someone with at least some athletic promise.

yup it's shammond, my BAD.

Don't hate me or anything but I want Crawford from the bulls as well. Maybe if we trade Ward, Othella and Weis to them and get Crawford, Voshkul, Miller in return.

I love Crawford and expect him to make a full recovery.

I've heard some very good things about Crawford...and I think the Bulls know not to give him up. Unfortunately I don't think we can pry him away.

Crawford is a pure point guard closing in on 6-6. Who would want to give up on him?

Make the deal sweet enough - Ward Brunson and Houston?? Pick up Crawford, Voskul and another... Damn - can't get rid of Houston until when??? But just think - under the cap, Spree at 2.. Lots of forwards... Run like hell.

I'd trade Ward + Houston + Harrington for Crawford, Oakley (his contract ends after this year and let him mentor KT in practice), Miller, Ron Mercer.

The Salaries match, including ward's trade kicker, but this trade could only go down a year from now, when I envision the Bulls winning the lotto and drafting Jason Williams, PG of Duke, making Crawford Superfluous. Or Krause, the Sleuth could pick Chris Marcus, the next Tim Duncan... Damn, I want us to get Chris Marcus.

Imagine the NBA "New Millenium" lineup that the bulls would have if they drafted Chris Marcus next year:

Crawford, PG 6'6"
Robinson, SG 6'9"
Chandler, SF 7'1"
Curry, PF 6'10 1/2"
Marcus, C 7'1" (A Tim Duncan Build)

Forget about Crawford because we probably won't get him and even if we can i wouldn't want him this year. The most i would offer right now is Jax and Harrington and maybe picks, but nothing else right now.

Yeah Marcus is alot like Duncun. Staying in school when he could have come out and been a very high pick.
