Nate can keep Wade out of the paint. I would rather concede the jumper than have in in the paint dunking and setting up their bigs. If Wade scores 40 off mid range jumpers fine. You put anyone BUT Nate on him and its a free lane to the basket.

I have said I liked Ariza many times and he's mad athletic, but he's not nearly quick enough or disciplined enough to guard Iverson. If he can't do that, there's no way he can guard Dwayne Wade. I think putting Nate on him would be the best option. Marbury can't guard those quicker guys. Jamal can't guard the big guys. The height advantage just blows, but there's nothing else you can do. Robinson is going to have his work cut out for him tonight, and Channing is especially especially going to be tested. Boooooooy, if we need a shooting big man, it's today. The way Channing hit those Js and set those picks to free up our guards was a thing of beauty.

yeah but I doubt larry brown would actually start them. itll probably be the same starting lineup

Marbury will be forced to guard Wade and will be in foul trouble and I think Frye gets into early foul trouble against Zo and we get blown out big time tonight.

I think we have a real chance at winning this game if we play hard both halves...
Our defense has been solid as of late.. it will be a close one regardless of the winner.

Nate cannot hope to guard Wade. Nate could guard AI because he is like 5-10 and quick but not incredibly athletic. Wade is 6-4 and jumps over the gym, not out of it. And Wades wingspan is crazy too. Just say no to Nate on Wade. Crawford or Q will get don dirty though.

AI is quick but not incredibly athletic? Unless you define vertical leap as the only component of athletic - that makes no sense. Quickness is one of if not the single most important athletic attribute of basketball players particularly guards. And AI is more then just a little quick. AI is a very, very athletic.

PS - His vertical leap is/was supposedly 44 inches not bad for a guy whose main attribute is quickness.
