What would you have done in Mil's position?
Draft Bogut
Trade the #1 pick for multiple later picks
Draft Frye
Draft Charlie V
Draft Deron Williams
Draft Paul
Draft Bynum
Draft Marvin Williams

Lets just say that we kept our pick this year and we got our selves a Decent Bigman, comparable to the #1 pick Andrew Bogut(Bogut is good and can play) But Frye is a Knick 'Channin' and doing real good.
I haven't seen anyone try to lauagh at him after the way they did when he collected the fouls in the summer league. Determination and Hard Work Pays Off

Id have traded the pick to Charlotte for Emeka Okafur. They could have had Marvin Williams, Sean May and Raymond Felton then. They would have gone for it, Williams had alot of hype going into the draft. I think Bogut is overated.

If I were the GM for the Bucks, yeah, BOGUT all the way.

Frye has played well, but so has Bogut. Both are fresh out of college, and expecting them to dominate games against NBA vets right away is unrealistic.

GMs select players thinking long-term (for the most part). I dunno if Darko will be a superstar in the future, but Dumars picked him over Carmelo, Wade, or Bosh. I think Bogut will be a better player than Darko. He's got the skill sets & heart to be a superstar C.

A lot can change throughout the season. Channing, Chris Paul, Charlie V, every rookie is going to go through ups and downs. It's ridiculous to judge the draft right now.

That said, I had Frye all the way!

Who said we should judge the draft right now? AGAIN, the question was what would you have done as GM on draft night.

The assumption is if you knew now back then, what would you do!

Based on the information at that time.

So yea, you are judging at this time.

Bogut got the hype and look it worked out for us in allowing us to get 'Channin Frye'

Frye is the real deal...as is Curry. We made out like bandits this off season. In two years we are a pretty interesting team.

Can't wait till we play the sixers saturday!

I went with Marvin Williams. I think his upside is bigger than that of Bogut and Frye. But he has look awful in the games that I went to. You can tell that he doesn't have a lot of experience. Bogut has been solid for the Bucks had a disappointing week last week and lost his starter position to a former #1 pick.

I will be there! Unfortunately, it looks like Dalembert is out, and I was really looking foward to seeing him.

I'm just curious to see if you changed your mind. You said we will be interesting in a couple years. Does that mean we arent interesting now? I just wanted to know what you meant by that.

Dont call me a punk. I know you wouldnt if you were standing here next to me talking so why not refrain from it here.

I was just wondering if you had adjusted your predictions of 2nd round playoffs and 50 wins.

Nothing wrong with changing your opinion. I know mine changes from time to time. For example, I wasn't really thrilled about getting Curry when we first got him, but I'm looking at the progress he is making and it's been refreshing, so now I am pretty excited.

I guess it's better than some of the stubborness I witness on the boards.

I think he's been out all season. He's always hurt. I'm glad we didn't do the Marbury for Dalembert Vescey/Ford rumor.

Nope, I think second round of playoffs this year and 50 wins.
I think (even with Philly playing so well) that we should win the Atlantic and secure the number 3 seed.

We are getting better and better with each game. The losses proved to be actual loses to bona fide teams (washington, GS twice).

With the team getting better with each possession, quarter, game I see us being better than a .500 team.

What good are predictions if you can't be wrong, so 50 wins may be a little bit much, but with all the 0-9 (or is it 7) bulls comparisons, and seeing how many games they won last year, and this year's team clearly better than last year's bulls team (once again IMHO) I'd say that 50 wins and second round is a distinct possibility.

And yes, i would call you punk to your face.
You don't scare me. punk.
Now go dry hump islesfan and stick to the subject of the thread. punk!

you wanna come at me, start a new thread, otherwise, go about your business, there is nothing to see here.

ps. punk.

I'd still do it. He may be out a lot now, but he's going to eventually put up Camby like numbers.

Which I would also like to point out, I proposed that trade a month or 2 before it was brought to the medias attention. Hence, I am a major influence on the media of NY and am the next Howard Stern.
