D Miles is exactly what we need. IMO his attitude would not get in the way here. He would have to check that at the door. Look how Sheed did when he came to the Pistons with LB. And Sheed was worse than Miles.

the 500th darius mile thread. it would be nice to get him, but we arent. time to think about other potential 3 men

Not trying to be a dick or anything but if there were 500 of them then you started 499 of them.

yeah because usually i come up with something reasonable for people to comment on rather than wasting my time breaking blls. I wasnt breaking the blls of the poster who started this thread, Im saying that darius miles appears to have become a non-issue trade wise and I think we all know that. Thats why i thought of granger today, because im thinking pro-active. I wanted to get miles 2 years ago and it just isnt happening.

You really don't think Darius would be a problem? I know you love his talent but its the mental part I dont think anyone really knows about and the fact that he's playing out in portland. It's easy to put #s up for a bad team.

we need a 3 badly. of course i would take darius--i think the rasheed comments are dead on. i scoped the entire league for 3s that are worthy and available nothing is flashing here if they had a chance to get miles and dint get it done, thats to bad.

Darius is not a bad kid. He is young and immature, and Larry Brown would be perfect for him. I havent been on the board but I bet you said the same thing about Larry Hughes and when he grew uop and figured it out he has became a good guard in the league. Kids that come straight form high school takes a while. The kid grew up in a tough neighborhood and wouldnt be a problem with the Knicks.

darius has the same problem crawford did. he has stars in his eyes. only thing is that when he becomes the 3rd/4th wheel he's just a role player.

not only is he untouchable so stop dreaming, but i would be reluctant to trade for him even if he was available.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I been saying this for awhile now. I'd be EXTREMELY cautious about what to expect because It's extremely easy to put up numbers for a bad team When he comes here and ends up having to not be the focal point of the offense, whats that going to do to his psyche? I'd rather not take the chance on him. Like you said Bobs, I don't think we have to worry about this since I doubt that Portland trades him.

Larry coaches very tough. Must be mentally tough.

While all players can change and evolve, Lets keep that ugly selfish MOFO out of here.

If Miles wants to win, he'll handle it. With him on our squad we could be on the verge of a really really good team. He is playing for a lottery team right now. If winning is appealing to him, I think he'll do what he has to do to make it work.

With Nate coaching and Telfair running the show, IMO Portland will contend for the 7th-8th seed this season.

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

^ And IMO...with Nate coaching and Telfair running the show, Portland will contend for lottery picks 1-5.

That actually has nothing to do with Nate and Telfair -- the JailBlazers are just that bad...
