Q isn't what alotta you think he is.

He's a guy that CAN do alotta things, but once you start relying on him to do ALL those things, he becomes less potent.

You have to find a niche for him. He's a "role" starter. Once you find what you need out of him, he can do it consistently. But other than that, you'll be hardpressed to find him being a versatile threat night in and night out.

I don't think we can really afford to keep him to be honest. He's still a tradeable asset. And no, based on the play of Nate, we didn't rape anybody.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Personally I think Q is soft. I don't think his hamstring is even hurt. I mean geez first his back, now his hamstring. Q, retire already so we can move on from this 6 million dollar a year mistake

guys like pierce = 90% of the starting 3's in the Eastern Conference.

Sorry, that's a ridiculous statement. Pierce is one of the best SF in the game.
It is ridiculous. 90%, not by a long shot, but there are some really good 3's in the east:
Paul Pierce
Richard Jefferson
Ron Artest
Lebron James
TayShaun Prince

Thats 5 out of 15. Tayshaun Prince is a good role player but doesn't deserve to be on the list, I'm just throwing it out there for arguments sake. But while I am no mathematicion, 5 out of 15 sounds a lot closer to 33.3% than it does to 90%. Just an observation.

He's a deep threat that plays good defense and rebounds well. That's all I think he is.
He's a guy that CAN do alotta things, but once you start relying on him to do ALL those things, he becomes less potent.
True
See last year's playoffs v. Spurs...
You have to find a niche for him. He's a "role" starter. Once you find what you need out of him, he can do it consistently. But other than that, you'll be hardpressed to find him being a versatile threat night in and night out.
we know who our stars are...I just want more out of him than TT provided, Boards/hustle/timely baskets/defense effort.
Marbs, Craw and Curry/Frye will provide the scoring punch.
I don't think we can really afford to keep him to be honest. He's still a tradeable asset.
This is where you lose me...we can't afford to keep him? What are you nuts? He's our starting 3, he just doesn't know it yet, but a starting three like Q is what we can use, bringing Reezy off the bench.
And no, based on the play of Nate, we didn't rape anybody.
I was unaware that Kurt was lighting it up in phoenix...Oh wait, he's not.
We raped them just by combining the stats to date combined for Nate and Q.

By the end of the season, you'll realize how bad the suns got taken.

Shoot, 2 year's from now when Kurt is a journey man waving a towel for the Mavs and Q is draining 3's in the playoffs, you'll realize We did in fact rape them.

no doubt (sorry bobs)

Now you've gone crazy. You should have quit while you were ahead. Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Boomann was right...PURE HATER. No criticism's based on anything. Just don't like the guy.

$6 million mistake...you must have a problem with the entire knick roster and the rest of the NBA.

Go back to fantasy basketball novice.

On a serious note: I like Q and think he will be an important part of this team. I just find it funny how people tore Allan HOuston a new a-hole when he was scoring 20 pts a game for having a one-sided offensive game but laud Q for sitting outside and shooting threes all day because "that's his role". Wasn't that Houston's role? Now don't get me wrong I didn't like Allan and don't wish he was back, but I just find it funny.

We are a board of schizo's. That being said we did win last night so I will say that Q is the bomb. At least for now

in our offense, Q is the bail out option. he's really just hanging around at the 3point line waiting for a kick out.

Don't get too pumped up about Q going 7-10. He is a streak shooter, meaning he'll have lots of 7-10 streaks from downtown but also plenty of 1-10s and 2-10s. Do NOT expect this guy to be a Houston-esque sniper, because he will never be that. Expect something like the offense Starks used to give us, post injury. A solid 12-14ppg kind of contribution with streaky 3 point shooting and some gritty physical plays, but not much more than that.

No. Steph needs to play with a shooter he can kick to. Every NBA team has a guy who hangs on the three point line. Or did you not notice that was how GSW and WAS beat us?

Q is a good - not great player. Getting him and Robinson for an aging pf with declining skills was a good trade.
