Khalid was another one. The media jumped on his bandwagon and those that didn't watch the games followed what the media said but he really wasn't an NBA player. He was however a winner so Chicago took a chance on him which wasn't a bad chance. But not many in Uconn land thought he had the skills or work ethic.
I just hope that people will like me

Its just so amazing to see how much has Channing been able to do with little time. The 19 point game he had was on 19 minutes! He is a top rookie even without having the playing time others ahead of him have had...

Dear messageboarders: Please don't joke about Uconn grads because I will obviously over-react.

Excuse me, there's no need to resort to insults here. I'm sorry you have a thing for UConn, but I'm not the one who drafted Tate George in the first round, my friend. I already stated that I like UConn, and nowhere in my post did I say that all UConn players are busts.

But for every Rip Hamilton and Ray Allen are their fair share of Khalid El-Amin's and your 1st round busts like Tate George...which pretty much happens to EVERY college team. No college system guarantees that the players will fit into the NBA. Of course, certain colleges get better players and have better systems which helps, but it's not a certainty that it works either.

The fact that you resorted to a knee-jerk reaction to my post, which included calling me a "moron" as well as using my pointing out of these players inability to fit in the NBA, of which is undisputable fact, and which really gives ZERO indication about my alleged basketball knowledge, says plenty.

Deron Williams has no business being ranked ahead of Channing either. Compare their PERs: Channing 21.6, Deron 15.3. Frye also has a better PER than Bogut (19.1), but it's pretty close.

Point guard is a tougher position to play as a rookie I think.

I think the lottery pick that had the MOST DOUBTERS was Charlie Villanueva. WOW, that was a crazy night for him and I think everyone is being HUS about his game now. If he was doing terrible TORONTO would have been put on BLAST since training camp.

You're right, actually. Frye might have the 2nd most doubters. However, living near Toronto, I know that most Raptor fans were very happy to have Charlie rather than Channing when I asked them which they'd rather have. (I always stuck up for Channing obviously, but I think both are nice young players.)
