I don't think its really one players fault. Almost every player on the floor did somethign awful during the last 6-8 minutes of the game, and we were LUCKY to have gone into OT.

And in overtime the same trend continued and the Celts just took their colective head out of their behind and finally took advantage of the general boneheaded play of EVERYONE on the floor for the Knicks.

In my opinion the number of dumb plays between Marbury and Craw are are about even, except Marbury did carry us in the end, so at least he AT LEAST balanced out his stupidity with big plays. The rest of the guys were just retarded.

I mean cmon, how can you freakin miss a breakaway dunk in a 3 pt game. Just lay it the fck in!
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

CRAWFORD SUCKS PLAIN AND SIMPLE

His feelings were hurt because he wasn't starting, he didn't get stronger over the offseason, and made every mistake again last night, he was constantly driving into traffic, losing the ball, shooting off balance....

That deal was so terrible, and by the way i would rather have Mutumbo than Jerome James

Crawford's frustrations for not getting the starting slot were silly.

That being said, Crawford played bad, but Marbury not getting those FTs killed us. Neither one deserves a pass.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Not the same buddy.
Craw 11 and 3, 6 tos
Steph 22 and 7, 5tos plus key steal and baskets to force gmae into overtimes. Craw displayed a high level of incompetence.

Yo Killa,

Is Crawford overrated?
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Like finding Barnes backdoor for the oop that put NY down 1 or the alley he threw to Curry or when he found AD on the pick and roll for the And 1. I know. None of those plays mattered as Steph went 1 against Beantown got the call and clanked free-throw after free-throw.

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

Craw is being used differently than what he's used to in Larry's system. He'll have more responsibility to protect the ball now, and has to concentrate much harder on D.

It's going to take some time for him to getr used to doing that and not jacking up ill-advised shots. Drumming on about his sub-par performance in the first game is rushing to early judgement.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

IMHO

Craw's job:

1 - defend

2 - rebound

3 - push tempo

4- make plays in the passing game

5 - hit the open shot off ball movement

6 - create for yourself

he needs to figure out a way to make food stick to his upperbody.

Which player is touted as our franchise player? He's the one you depend on. Right now Crawford's a sixth man. Not the same, but both players have some responsibility for why we lost.

It was also all of last season, preceeded by happy chucking time in chi town. Crawford has not shown he can play a strong overall game with consistency. Maybe that changes this season, maybe it doesn't.

There are so many ifs we could say. You can't really blame one player. I mean players have bad games. But as a team we didn't rebound the ball well, and as a team we missed a lot of free throws. Defensivly the effort was there as we held them to 42% shooting.

If we are to be a good team we are going to have to overcome a player having a bad game. Amd do things like Rebound and hit free throws to win.

Curry's play in encouraging though. We haven't gotten production and presence from the center position like that in a long time.

I agree....Even the coaches had a bad game....Brown's rotation wasn't 2 good.

I actually didnt find crawford to be that uch worse than anyone else on the team, sure he had to's at key omoents but so did barnes marbury and davis, also crawford hit that shot that tied it up with a couple minutes left in regulation. anyway I dont think he was significantly worse than anyone else.

marbs should get blame for all loses, he's the star. I'm down with that. I will try not to rush to his defense so often.

no doubt

walking the tightrope...the legacy of stephon marbury

blame him for the losses.
doesn't win enough to get any real credit.

it's a shame.

he kept us in the game last night.
but him missing ft's also help cost us the game.

is it without him we're not even in the game? or is it despite the 20 & 7, he still cost us the game?

which one is it?
Crawford stunk it up last night.
