Kurt Thomas is an All-star It is the Perfect Storm for Kurt Thomas to make the all-star team.
You didn't have to say it just the mere implication that he had a snowball's chance in hell was enough for me to respond the way I did..which was and will continue to be.... Ha ha ha ha

Kurt was a nice player for us all those years, But he will be seriously exposed in Phoenix without Amare. People say his greatest asset is his defense, I never actually thought that myself. He has a sweet J from the top of the key that is money for most of the game. His J made him ideally suited for pick and Rolls... The Suns beeing a fast break team actually takes away from Kurt's game alot. Add to that his incredible 2 inch verticle... and it's easy to see why alot of us were glad to see him go for the players we got in return.
I predict by season's end.. This trade goes down as a blunder for the Suns. Kurt is nice... but Nate and Q have alot more to offer us going forward.

I would have to disagree. Even if KT's minutes/production from the past few years stays the same, with Amare's injury it is a good thing for the Suns KT is there. He is a very serviceable stand-in while Stoudamire is out. Nate and Q are nice players but they can't fill a hole in the front court like KT.

Dido.. you and a lot of people overrate Ariza right now. Can he be a prince type player? Yes, I suppose so, but right now he's the furthest thing from it. Also please stop mistaking great defensive skills for just playing hard there. He plays very hard on D, but I dont remember him locking down ANYONE last year.
He's had big plays and made big stops in preseason but he also gets caught out of position and overplays guys quite often.
Prince was a star in college and it carried over here. He's also a LOT longer than Ariza.
Maybe Reezy could be a James Posey type guy but he doesnt have the jumper (yet).
He plays hard and he's tough and he's getting better. He's not a lockdown defender

14 pts 9 rebounds 2 blocks against the lakers in a win tonight...he might be a little old but with kurt in there against boston we wouldn't give up a ridiculous amount of second chance points and probably would've won.

Second chance points have been our nemisis for at least the past 4 seasons. Now, if Camby were here it would be a different story. But we had the same issue when Kurt was here.

That is true. Second chance points are always a problem when your frontline is undermanned. but I always thought our most annoying killer was giving up 3's in the last ten seconds (Sometimes off of an offensive rebound.).
