Ariza and Barnes' job should be to just try and get Pierce out of his game and get under his skin. We don't really need a lot of offense from either guy. Just guard dude. Pierce has been known to loose his cool every now and then. I want those guys on him all night. Everyone knows what he wants to do. He wants to get in the lane and hit you with the spin. Pierce will be forced to operate on the wing, because we have Curry and James to clog the middle with either Frye or Davis to swipe the ball away....Pierce's numbers will be average....

If he can't get to the hole off dribble penetration he'll go on the blocks and do it. Either way, Pierce is known for getting fat oafs like James in foul trouble. Curry, though not an oaf, won't fair much better with PP coming at him.
