And taking back a player for Brent barry seems ridiculous to me. he is old and could fill a need, but if it can't be done easily we shouldn't do it.

We're not really taking back an extra player. It would be a player with a small salary who would immediately be waived. It's done all the time in trades just to make the salaries match because of the dumb CBA salary trade rules.

so Bary would do the same that his brother did in Houston

that was a nice idea in looking to trade Malik Rose
another player to consider would be Vlad Radmonavic, and if we were to get like a Radmonavic, we would have to move Ariza to SG.

but either one could help us, if we are really interested in shooting lots of 3 pters

so $4.7 x 125% = $5.8 which is about $200K shy of matching rose's deal so a jermaine jackson type would have to be picked up by the spurs, included in the deal, then immediately waived by us.

Like I said.

Any one of the eight lowest paid Spurs could be added to the deal to make the salaries match. Or any player could be signed to the league min and traded to us and then waived.
