The best shooter in the league is called Joe Johnson, but I guess we can't touch him.

How can Joe Johnson be the best shooter in the league when he wasn't the best shooter on Phoenix, who was Steve Nash?

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Well, 177/370 three pointers, that's 47%. I really believe he is nowadays the best shooter.

Why is everyone looking at guys that are signed?

http://www.hoopshype.com/free_agency.htm

Wesley Person, Kerry Kittles, Rodney Rogers, Lucious Harris, Kendall Gill, Chris Crawford, Matt Frieje, Dan Langhi, Willie Green is Still out there too.....

There are alot of shooters out there that can be had cheap...I like Wells, but I don't classify him as a shooter....I take Miller, Wally(only 2nd because of contract) or Korver.

Yeah, but he's been in the 27 to 36% range all other years in his career. Last year may have been an abberation or he may have suddenly become a shooter. You have to have more than one year of good shooting to be considered a good shooter

any word on rescheduling the surgery?

My surgery is more complicated than fantasy league strategy.

After my surgery was postponed the insurance company decided they didn't want to pay for the operation, saying it was experimental. After some fighting and threatening from my doctor they decided last Friday they would pay for it.

Then today at 6PM I get a call from the hospital telling me my surgery was tomorrow morning. I freaked and called my doctor and it ended up that it was someone else with my last name, and the hospital called me by mistake.

The doctor did have good news though, everything red-tape wise is taken care of, they are looking for tissue and I should be getting surgerized in the 3rd week of November.

It means the entire holidays on crutches, but I think I prefer that than less than a days notice!

Thanks for asking Marv!

I've thought about it and I think the only kind of pure shooter we need right now is in our backcourt....preferrably at the two. Our situation right now is that we don't need anymore help in our frontcourt (they just need to get in shape). Of course if someone for our frontcourt comes along that we can't pass on then we've gotta spring for him.

To fill that need for a shooter in our backcourt we should go after a kid we had on our summer league team, Reuben Douglas. That guys shot was money and he had range on it too. He could handle the ball and he played tough defense. I have no idea where he is right now (wouldn't surprise me if he got picked up by another team). There's no question he could put it in the hole in the same way he could as the prolific scorer he was when he was playing his college ball at New Mexico. If Douglas is available we should bring him in.

Overall as a team we just need time to gell.
