You can trade a contract even though you waived the player? Its true they still owe the money.

I did not suggest you were in favor of trading for Theo and Zach. But there are others whom think it. In fact it was more of an agreement of your statement.

A true smart ass snit would have been more evident. Maybe I should have been paying better attention to my puncuation but I was really keeping making sure I was being careful with my son this morning. HE was late to school this morning. Teens can be so controlling, but I can be also! Then I remembered your wisdom and parental advice so I got a grip and refrained from raping him. Thanks again.

WWDD: What Would Dido Do!

a great punchline set up not only by a cross-thread reference but a cross-forum one at that! nalod this is a demonstration of both the art and science of posting!

On occaision, we break barriers into new territories of higher posting.

When they say "ny fans are the most intellegent", they must have been thinking of Marv!

The art of the diss must be held at a high standard, otherwise its just a common insult.

Thank you, Thank you!

Zach's knee looks decent. He's played well in limited minutes in the preseason. I think his recovery could be a lot closer to Jason Kidd's. I wouldn't give up a lot to get him, though (not before we know what we can get out of Frye and Lee at PF).

I'm not particularly interested in Zach at this point simply b/c i don't think we need him. We have Curry at the 5 and if he's here to stay, then by golly we already have a low post scorer who doesn't pass and play defense and Frye can also score in the high and low blocks DOES play defense for a change in this frontcourt. Lee, I want to see a little more of. He will be a real good rebounder and plays his tail off, but he seems to have his limits. But we really don't need Zach. Our frontcourt could be set for now, believe it or not. If anything, we need a long shotblocker/rebounder if James can't stay on the court.
Zach and Eddy would spread the offense perfectly. Zach is a lefty and can finish very strong on the left side of the low-post. Eddy like most righties is stronger going right and stronger on the right side. We'd have a low-post threat in every part of the low post. Steph could drive and pass it to his left to Zach or right to Eddy or kick it out to the perimeter

We should think about moving our contracts that are more than 2 years long.

Zack Randolph and Darius Miles are such over payed, under producing, cancerous players. Forget it. Lets play Ariza, Channing and Lee at the 3 and 4 and see what we have.

The only way I do this is to trade Malik Rose with Jerome James on Dec 15th and take on Theo and Ruben's contracts. The reason I would do this is that it would rid us of Jerome's now useless contract and would save us 2 million in 2007-2008. And by that offseason, Theo's contract will be expiring. Very useful in a trade for ...

LEBRON JAMES.

Thank you.

Good point, but I see them as very similar (as do you?) but prefer we have an athletic long PF along Eddie to balance it out. Frye might be quicker to help weak side, and be a better runner to fill the lanes.

Zachs history of attidude and body composition is similar to Eddies, and we need more diverse body types.

Channing might grow into a better long term player. Frye at 7 feet and offensively gifted might just be better than Tyson Chandler and could actually fulfill Krause's dream!

Charactor was important to Isiah when drafting Frye. It can often be a predicter towards upside developement. Lifestyle and work habits play a big part of that developement.

Zach is proven to be less than enthusiastic employee.

If we could get Ratliff it would free up a trade of James to Atlanta for an expiring contract like Tony Delk

Zach Randolph's charcter has been in question since Michigan State and I don't think he'll ever be any better at decision making but, Darius Miles use to have some enthusiasim for the game back when he played for the Clippers. I think reuniting with Q would be a help in getting him back on track. Out of the two Q was the leader and Miles just followed his lead and he respects Isiah. Isiah has been the man in the midwest and that's where Miles, Q and Eddy Curry are from. I think he just needs a change of scenery. Nobody plays good in portland anymore they go there and become fugitives of the law.

There has to be a better trading partner for a Rose deal.

I agree; I definitely wasn't talking about giving up Frye to get Zach

I'm feeling reezy...his defense and intensity.

I think we should christen the

JUNKYARD DOG POUND:
nate, Reezy, Lee, Frye...the team that hustles.

no doubt

^ That SHOULD be almost the entire team...

except when you have bums like Taylor and Penny, it's kinda hard to include everyone.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

If we are going to trade Malik, I hope that it is not in a trade with Portland, because they really don't have anything that we need.
