We need to get Butler locked into a contract so we can get his Bird rights. The most we can give right now is 2 years of the LLE.

Here is the deal.....Both Butler and Reezy will outplay the big money players (Jame, Curry and Q) early on in the season. I know that those boys are injured, but too bad it won't be in their advantages...

I don't think Butler is nearly as talented as Sweetney, but as far as being a poor man's Sweetney with some height, it's possible

The last time Sweets blocked four shots was while he was playing NBA live and he pumped up all his stats. Butler is like three years younger than Sweets and he has time to become a better player than sweets because as of right now he would just be a sophmore in college.

That name is cool, but how about we call the bench the YOUNG GUNZ.
They gone make other teams 2nd squad look bad.

Kind of like the bench mob in sactown...I'm rooting for our starters to suck so we can see the bench...Every Big Game Foul should be greeted with applause!!

no doubt
all kool aid all the time.

I think this was a comparison a few people were making when they saw Butler las year. Considering Butler would've been a sophomore in college, in 1 or 2 yrs time he could've very well been as advanced a prospect as Sweetney was when coming out. His height definitely helps. It appears he's also one of those guys who can time his leaps well to get blocks (not necessarily one who jumps ouf the gym). Sweetney's shotblocking didn't translate from college to the pros but Butler's might.

He seems to have a decent touch on his shot and can finish around the basket, and is already pretty comfortable on the floor (not overwhelmed or overmateched by the pro game). Certainly a great sleeper pickup by IT. Hopefully he can find us a few more.

.

Trevor, Nate and Lee were all dug up by IT and they are all potential diamonds in the rough, but don't mind me like Nolad said I sip the finest of the Kool-aid
