we could try to get him for Nate, Lee, who aren't going to see many minutes anyway, Curry or JJ & future picks. I wouldn't trade Frye since he will be a productive frontcourt player for us someday for 35mins a game

i wouldn't do it. now's the time to build with low-priced youth, not another overpaid vet like pierce.

ok lets do whats best and trade Marbury for young defensive minded players and draft picks

Lose for a year or 2 and win the lottery and land a couple more top 5 picks and build a championship contender as opposed to a pretender

what deal are you thinking of? isn't there a plan that would trade marbury for the young talent now to augment what we have and win now? i'm not too interetesd in this lose and go to the lottery thing, and if we traded marbury for the right young talent i wouldn't expect to.

I don't know. it worked for Cleveland and San Antonio in a big way.

Ehhh alright I'll wait see if Larry can make a beast out Curry, a sharpshooter out of Q and a rookie phenom out of Frye and Chauncy Billups out of Crawford. it was Carlisle who fixed Billups anyway. I'll let the season start and pray that 3yrs from now we dont continue to be stuck in mediocrity and in cap hell. I had these same hopes last season and none of the moves worked out. I hope it works out this time

Q Rich isn't fitting in.

Ariza and Lee need burn at the 3.

I wouldn't mind seeing a backcourt of Eddie Jones and Jamal Crawford.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.
