Not entirely true... the salaries of Jerome Williams and Houston will still be on the books, just not on the Luxury tax. We will not have cap space to sign anyone.

No, IIRC, there's a chance that Houston's contract will come off the cap by Jan.19th, the last time he played.

Well the only two good free agents this year will be Tayshaun Prince and Big Ben Wallace and I don't see neither of them coming to NY. So we won't need the money for another two years anyway.
