Matt Barnes played at UCLA the same school as Young Trev. If you look closely Isiah is working on the chemistry trying to get players who know each other. Eddy Curry and Q-rich are straight out of Chicago while Nate the Great and Jamal Crawford come straight out of Seattle. Crawford also went to michigan the same school Mo T went to. This is going to be a good season

Signing this guy tells me that Q may be playing the 2 a little more than the 3. And Lee may not be ready for major minutes at the 3. Good pick up though. We keep getting deeper and deeper.

the night tim thomas came from injury and wasnt fugazy...if i remember correctly barnes hit the game winning freethrow on us

You know what guys....

I see alot of my favorite players are becoming Knicks all of a sudden. Guys that I have been saying to myself that they would be good Knicks are all coming in since Isiah became GM.....

Now that Timmy is gone aside from Houston....i'm in love with the entire roster!!!

IN retrospect, I pretty much remember both of those guys killing us that game. I have no recollection of the game in Sacratomato (Credit to Summers) however. I guess it's a good pickup.

hmmm... this could just be a training camp pickup, someone to hassle our prima-donna-ish guards (craw, Q, houston) and get them working hard. if he sticks around, could mean houston's not as ready as he hoped, if he's 100% we barely have room for the guys we are already committed too.

maurice evans abused us this game. i guess both he and matt barnes had their way with the NYK at some point. i really hope our changes over the summer can add to our D against the odds, we really needed it.

Well I don't mind seeing him.....he was always one of my faves when he was healthy. He seems a bit "pre-madonnaish".

I know he did play hard for us when it counted and gave more than we could have expected(Nets series).

I know he is gonna be pissed this year, lol. Too much young talent and he is basically a big expiring contract....a business tool at this point.

All in all Matt Barnes is a good player. I'd love to have him around...even if he doesn't play in games he will definately bring it in practice. Besides if he doesn't play it won't be because he sucks....the Knicks are crazy deep!
