Remember his rookie year the MEDIA used to joke that he was the best QB in New York!

He would've definitley been an upgrade for the awful Kent Graham/Dave Brown/Danny Kanell Giants, and probably the Neil O'Donnell/Gelnn Foley Jets as well.

So long Chollie

I remember his rookie year, buried in the Riley doghouse, where he played about 10 total minutes... then JVG comes along and makes him the starter - fighter

Let's hope he doesn't run into any bigot players through his coaching tenure!

I wish more guys on our roster had a heart like Charlie (no, not singling out Eddy neither).

Chris Childs on the other hand was a different experience, much less pleasant than Charlie Ward, but you know, Chris also hit some big shots.

JVG on Ward : "We always said Charlie would rip your heart out on the floor and then pray for you after. "

That is a good quote about Ward. Thanks for your years of service charlie and good luck in your ventures into coaching. I'm sure charlie can teach guys like starbury to draw a charge right?

To me, through all the good and the bad, Chris Childs will always be remembered for that two-piece he laid on Kobe's chin.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Don't forget how Chris Childs almost single handedly knocked out the Knicks in the playoffs a few years ago... too bad Vince decided to show up and stole his limelight

Yeah, back in 2001 when the dark days were just getting started.

Glad that's all a distant memory now!
