attitude? Lee may have talent. Seems to me he is missing an outside shot, but let's not say he is any better or worse than Sweets until we actually see him play.

Sweets creates awesome space down low and he gets great possition....Shaq like position down low.....and he gets to the line. Sweets is not hungry and he lacks the killer instinct that all the big dogs down low have. He doesn't work hard enough. He still has a chance but he wouldn't be in trade talks if he had that nasty streak.

Lee is a different style of player. Lee does stuff Sweets could never do even if he lost 50 lbs. Thing is Lee has the motor and nasty side to get it done.

My opinion of course but I'm a genius, lol

Lee does 2 things LB loves. He can really pass and he rebounds with great enthusiasm. He's also a high class of athlete. The truth is Lee didnt really meet expectations in Fla.
He was an off the charts HS player. Slam dunk winning, McD's all American, the whole 9. My guess is Fla expected him to be a bonafide superstar in the mold of Kmart or Webber.

I'm thinking one of two things. Either he played in a system that limited his growth or he's got a major hole in his game that kept him from breaking out and shooting up the draft

I can help you on the Florida answer. They have had 3 big men that are pretty good pros. Haslem is making over 40 million and was a 2nd round pick and Matt bonner had a vewry good first season at toronto. The big men at UF, dont touch the ball and it is mainly a guard oriented offense with big men been skilled. David didnt figure out how to work until he was a senior. The only big man with more skill is Frye on this team

that's very interesting. that would be my assesment of the bigs on this team too. I'd heard that Walsh got a majority of the touches on offense at Florida. I think Lee can be a great pro.

exactly, I watched a few florida games, and they ran a lot, but it is not a offense centered about the big man, very guard oriented, but with all that said, lee still put up very respectable numbers.. and he impacted the game when he was on the floor..

Well, Of course I did not mean Lee is bad. But I like A LOT the kind of players with post moves. There ain't a lot of players with Sweetney skills in the paint. I really prefer them over players like JYD or Kurt Thomas (Lee may be something between those two). their not bad, I just prefer the other

He isnt getting traded to anyone. I still think the trade will go through in the end. Lee is the best rebounder on your team. He had a great summer league playing a position he has never played and he is faring well in the scrimmages with the vets. A lot of people on this board viewed him as a throw in at 30. He will surprise a lot of people with his skill and athleticism this year.

wow, hasnt played a single minute and already the best rebounder...puhlease. he will get very few minutes and is expendable.

I seriously doubt that Lee will get traded, so I won't bother to go crazy over the speculation like some others are. I'll just wait for the press conference (if it happens). We shouldn't have to trade more than TT, Sweets and 2 picks for him IMO.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I am saying that he may not get significant minutes this year but if Sweetney and Thomas are traded that leaves minutes open. You have James that Brown will want to strangle, MO taylor will not play because of his defense, and David and Channing are rookies. Lee will be playing significnt by XMAS and you will be surprised on how is contributes.

Yes at the 5 most of the time can you really see Curry and James running the floor with those guards? James, Curry, Frye, Taylor, and Lee, there are alot of minutes to go around and one of those guys with be in LB doghouse and it could easily be Lee. The bottom line is Lee will bring it and has skills and Brown will love that. It will be interesting how training camp play out.,

I don't believe this rumor at all. I think that Zeke is trying to help both Curry and Paxon out by generating a little interest to incite other teams to go after Curry.
