Ever since the departure of Jordan, the West has been the strength of the league, but all of that is changing. Detroit, for the last 2 years has been a force to recon with, but next season, Miami, Detroit, and perhaps Indy will be reclaiming the throne. The Spurs, Dalla and Phoenix will make it very interesting, but the East will prevail for the next 5 years.
Let's hope that our Knicks will be in the thick of things also.
It's a good point. Because it's also a good time for the Knicks brass new direction. As we build cap space, the pickings will start to increase for us, as the west is forced to start reshaping. Should be able to find some really good deals in two years, as we build around a few potential super stars that we will be acquiring. It's about timing and it finally looks like it's gonna be looking up for us soon. FINALLY! Donnie's making some really smart moves right now. The Balkman thing and then releasing the two for one guys to settle our roster was clearly another contract and cap space move. Nice move to the basket Donnie!

I'll never trust this' team again.
