Seriously I don't look at it as a one player thing. Its going to be a little of N8, Q, Frye and improved Sweets, Ariza & JC. Overall we have some players. People don't like Mo, but he CAN play. He's the kind of guy that if you can't concentrate on him, he can light you up, cuz he's a scorer. This team is filled with guys who have high offensive skills. This is were LB will earn his money, by getting these guys to be a TEAM and also to think Defense 1st. WIth all the natural offensive skills they have if they can play just DECENT D, we should win a LOT of games. We were 14th in the league in scoring and 11th in FG%, so even with less we were able to score. now we have more talent, more balance and size, so if LB gets us the defensive edge we need, I just can't see this being anything less than a playoff season.

there is still a chance that Frye can become camby, :
http://slam.canoe.ca/NBAPlayoffs99/jun6_daniels.html
Marcus Camby, knocked most of his career for being too soft, steps up with an inspired, equally shocking 21-point, 11-rebound game

all the talk about frye being soft is as hog washy as camby (or just as true), but we know that if we had camby, we'd be a contender, so I want to put this out there and also point out that Frye is the same height as camby and he weighs more

frye, dare I say the next Camby? better? I'm hoping so.

Maybe so. Better shot, not as good a rebounder.

Or maybe Charles Manson. You think he could do a better job than Jerome James?

i brought this exact thing up months ago.. he is the eXACT player we need... unless we are talking about a kevin garnett caliber... but Camby would be perfect on this team.... he is getting old tho... maybe we can find a player that does similar things.. Frye is not him...

next level?

I expect this team to be in the lottery again- I'm hoping for it- we still need more talent.

Camby's #'s aren't spectacular- he has his moments when he'll grab 20 boards- but I don't think we need him or that he'd help the team.

I like fish's choice best though for getting this team to the next level...
