i'd trade Sweetney in any # of different scenarios...i'm not that high on him at all...but it wouldn't be in a trade to get any mediocre level talent...if he has to be a piece used to get a quality player, i'm fine with that...or if we can get a lottery pick for him in a package, i'd be more than fine with that too (but i don't see any team giving up a lottery pick for him anyway, so that point is probably moot)

I have no problems trading Sweetney. I would perfer to get pf that can block shots and play d in return. I'm just tried of people saying what Sweetney is going to do. I just want Sweetney to start doing well instead of getting in foul trouble and not playing d on the defensive end.

what about JOe JOhnson?? Phoenix do not have a glut at SG
Uhhh....what about Joe Johnson? I'll tell you what about Joe Johnson. Boston had him.......and they traded him for the exact same reason you'd trade Sweets.
Good job.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure.
And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

if we compain about ny's lack of involvement with draft picks and developing youth trading sweetney at this stage fits that complaint. don't think i'm saying sweetney can't be traded, if the upgrade was significant i do it in a heartbeat.

Any one may be traded. Sweets is our best rebounder-any question? Sweets has the best hands of any big knk-any question? Sweets draws fouls better than any big knk-any question? He has a good inside/post up game. Needs works on conditionning, defense (can anyone say Larry Brown). He should be an inch or too taller but has long sarms. Who are we getting with better skills, more upside and more size?
