I don't care about wins and losses. I just want to see Frye, Robinson, Ariza, Sweetney, Lee, and Butler develop, and Steph, Craw, and Q improve their games.
Could not have said it better myself. I actually expect to see alot of guys like JYD and Malik early because in a lot of ways they play the game right. Then LB will start working the younger guys in. While it would be nice to win 50 the real goal IMO is establishing the young players, establishing a style of play and establishing the Knicks as a tought team of hardworking players. In the 90s we were so successfull because we always had gas in the 4th qtr and we would always just seam to wear teams down.

I'm looking forward to seeing all the guys... even Big Game James. I'm hoping we have some early chemistry and can come out of the box healthy and playing well. I'm confident regardless of wins or losses we will accomplish a lot this year.

Progress- in whatever form- developing chemistry, style of play, rookie play, etc.
&
Toughness- in playing defense & being mentally tough and not folding

I agree, I want to see these young guys develop and our young vets get better, we are not a championship team anyway so I rather see us build toward the near future, we can suprise some people this year and I hope we can develop some chemistry quick. I will tell you this, If I get to see Ariza, frye, lee, nate and Butler all on the floor at the same time at some point in this season,I am going to shed tears. This will be a step in the right direction.. And long awaited..

The return of D and the excitement of our core young players. I want to see Steph step up and lead this team in the W column. Also I want Isiah to hire a speech specialist for Steph's news conferences.
Knicks are happening and have a Unicorn.

I'm looking forward to seeing Isiah get the ax and getting a real GM in here to clean up his mess. Someone that understands how the whole salary cap thing works.

I'm looking forward to the Knicks playing like they know what they're doing. Especially at the end of games.

I expect this team to shock a lot of people with how much better they'll be. This roster is better than people know, cuz they are only remembering how poorly the team played last year and can't see the talent we have this year. From what I can see this is a GOOD team already and once LB gets them going they'll be even better. YOU'LL SEE

I want Houston to recover and play 15/20 minutes from the bench.
I want Frye to play center (JUST center) and have a decent year backing up James.
I want Sweetney to have 18 ppg and 10 rpg and play 30 mpg.
Finally I want the Knicks to smash the Nets in the play-offs. Ohh...that would be sweet.

i'm beginning to agree w/u isles, as scary as that sounds...alot of the things you've said all along are now coming true...it's a sad state of affairs when you have a used car salesman running your franchise.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I really do hate being right about Isiah but once a snake, always a snake. He's been one his entire professional career and there was no reason to believe he'd be any different here. He's all about perception. He does things to make it look like he knows what he's doing but he has no clue. He just flashes those pearly whites while giving nonsensical answers and most people who question him just gush and say that maybe he has a point. That's what a good used car salesman does. Those who can see through his BS know that he's going to leave the Knicks worse off than when he got here.

Then there are people like this:

Kool-Aid drinkers: Isiah I thought you said you were going to do it this way?

Isiah: <SMILING> Well I also said that I was going to lie when I had to.

Kool-Aid drinkers: <gushing in Isiah's glow> Oh yeah you did. Nevermind you're doing the right thing now.

I have no problem with that aspect of his personality, but it hasnt been an advantage. The hope is he gets guys to come here that normally might not, or for less money. Thats the positive of having a used car saleman.

Instead nobody wants to come here and we overpay in every transaction except one (KT deal)
