Bro why are you such a diick about gettin people banned, you arent the moderator, so shove it.
Because apparently the moderators are benignly overlooking one of the forum rules:
While healthy debate and discussion is fine, please refrain from rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. If it's severe enough you will lose your account privileges.
I don't know what someone would call Nalod's gay robot schtick if not a rude, insulting personal attack that is needlessly inflammatory. I don't care if someone tries to play it off like it's all in good fun, it goes against the forum rules and it goes against my sense of justice, sorry. I don't like to see people getting picked on while everyone else (including the mods) just overlooks it or even approves. Especially not when it's deemed OK to harp on personal attacks on one member, and then when it's not deemd OK to criticize another one for something he actually deserves criticism for. That just ain't fair, and someone needs to call it out like it is. If the mods won't do it, I guess it's gotta be me.
You don't like the forum don't come here.
You know, I haven't been as much as I used to.
BRIGGS thought the Areanas rule was out because ESPN left it out. ESPN was wrong. You want to go flame ESPN?
LOL, no my friend. This might be a stretch, but let's use some
logic. ESPN left out the rule, but nowhere did they say that it wasn't in effect, or that the rules they did list were complete. ESPN isn't at fault here at all-- there is simply no way someone could have read that article and concluded with confidence that the Arenas rule was out. It was Briggs who took a specious bit of logic and ran with it. His logic was clearly flawed at the time, but that didn't stop him from parading it around like the truth. There's nothing wrong with being wrong from time to time, but if you go around making strong claims on weak evidence with an attitude, then there is something wrong. Hey, he can do that if he likes-- no forum rules against it-- but he has to face the consequences. In this case, he eats his crow with a light french salad dressing and a side of fries. He gets what he had coming to him, and that's that, and everyone can just move on from there.
