Melo is half the man Lebron is.

That may an overstatement.

He may be less.

Unless melo toughens up, he will have a career similar to Big Dogg Robinson.
It's funny but I heard the same thing about Lebron, especially after last year. Staying out of games that could have helped, and his off the court fisaco. Not to mention his problems with LB. Both those guys need to mature if they are expected to carry this league. I will say this Melo is a better money player than Lebron so far in their careers. Especially head to head.

Wow I could imagine your saying that after their rookie years but not after last year. LB was phenomenal last year while melo took a step back IMO.

God Briggs, this is getting really lame. The least you could do is bother to say "I heard it on WVBN action news radio" or something.

tomnerve, sometimes there wont be a link with a source, i think you can understand that. is there a posibility of getting something wrong--yes, but id rather get a a very reasonably valid snippet of something before others, why not? if you have the where with all to find facts whether it be from the radio, the tV, the internet or other.

remember i found out from an inside source about bynum declaring to the nba and this forum was BY far the first one to hear about it, EVEN before memebers of the paid uconn insider board. i didnt have to so that, but this forum is pretty cool with a few exceptions so i shared the information

in fact i share a lOt of information, especially from HS and college ----- 90% plus have no clue whether it be from HS or college because i follow them both very closely, not many people do. No one here even heard of the name andrew bynum before i mentioned the name and I dont believe anyone here knows college basketball even remotely close to me because i watch[and pay extra for] hundreds of games during the year and also follow HS down to 9th grade[used to go to aau tourneys all the time a bit younger} for another site--and I share that content here making it a better place

I read all the information i could find on the new cBA and never one did i find any specific Arenas rule, i thought that was a big piece of news and i found out this is why the cba took so long to ratify. so when i didnt see it anywhere, i thought they just dropped it, was i wrong? yes, but it was also a reasonable conclusion to believe it wasnt there, i just made the mistake of not leaving the chance for it to have made it in.
pretty much --i ould say 97% of my post are on basketball with atleast some reasonable content behind it. i think ive broken stones 3-4 times in 3+ years here, thats not what i do, i just talk basketball. and any old timer from the nykbasketball thread can tell you my first posts EVER on any knick board were about how shtty the direction we started to go in and how badly we needed to draft a kid i saw play in an AAU NJ tounrney by the name of amare stoudemire.

so is it justified to break my blls, go ahead if you want, but i dont think so. I try to bring content and discussion, and i lead the griping for dudes like you.

Briggs:

I hear everything you say. But when you call people out and challenge then to prove you wrong, like when you said 'all the people who want to still believe the Arenas rule is there was wrong.....and create threads based on articles that you feel prove your point, don't be surprised when those same people call you out. You get sensitive about being called out. It happens on every board. If you are head strong and challenge people to 'find something that proves you wrong', when they do it, don't get sensitive.

It's all a part of posting.

sensitive to what, i was wrong and i said i was wrong. im not a sensitive dude, i could care less to be honest but i just wanted to atleast support the reasoning behind why information can be posted without a link if there is very reasonable data supporting it.

Ohhh, stop being so sensitive about not being sensitive, Briggs. Now get back to your threesome with Amare and Andrew Bynum.

He is using his own sources for college and HS info, he is a Uconn alumn so he had an inside track on the Bynum info.

The point is that he actually contributes to the forum while most of the people jumpin on him post crap for 99% of their posts and harldy ever provide any insight into anything.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
