I mean Killa beat me to it. Miles is soft just like TT and a headcase. Don't need players of his ilk. Next we'll want Bonzi Wells and Antoine Walker.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

I think Briggs beat me to it, but TT is a hell of a lot better shooter than Miles and stronger in the post. Miles rebounds better probably. TT handles the ball better and while both have been disappointments, TT has a lot more talent. I didn't say heart.

I didnt beat you to anything--mIles offensive game is more *effecient* than Thomas. His FG% is much better, meaning he takes better shots. Miles has an all-around game and he is right there on the cusp to break out to all starish type levels with PT. he will defend and disrrupt, he needs new scenerey and structure.

Keep in mind, Jamal's sister said she heard this from someone that told her it was on ESPN (likely meaning what Chad Ford wrote a couple of days ago or whenever it was, he said Crawford to Portland what make sense or something along those lines). This is all comes from what Chad Ford speculated, so there is nothing to get excited about.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves here. Miles is showing flashes now, that he'll be a good player all around, but all star or boarderline all star? I don't think so quite yet. And would I trade "Crawdaddy" (Courtesy of the Bip)? No, b/c I think Jamal will be a better player than Miles overall. However, if we're going to lose Trevor to this non existing Gilbert Arenas rule, if it is non existant, than I say go after Miles, but for not that expensive of a price. But if we're able to keep Trevor, then I don't see the point.

If you haven't already, read Renee Mitchell's column on Darius Miles, who sent more than 50 pairs of size 18 shoes to a 14-year old in Vancouver who couldn't afford them.

Classy move by Miles. The Mitchell column, because it's zoned, won't be in every Metro edition of The Oregonian so you'll have to get it here to be sure.

And while Miles good side (the great sense of humor and the generousity) is undoubtedly out there, it makes his volatile side (the film-room tirade with his former coach, the constant jawing at practice, the tantrums) all the more frustrating, I think. Because it's evident by some of his good deeds that he's a guy who is smart enough, and caring enough, to "get it."

WTF does a 14 year old need with 50 pairs of Kick? How about 10, and a laptop? or a book? how about some groceries? But kicks, oh man!

Oh, does he sell the other pairs?

And you talking with JC sister?

I think it would be a mistake to trade Craw without giving Brown a chance to work with him.

I don't get it. Send one or two shoes and some cash or some food or some other gift. Why 50 shoes? It sounds made up or exaggerated or just plain stupid.

No way. Miles has played PG at times throughout his career.

I'm starting to really doubt some of you Knick fans.

You hate Timmy, but LOVE Miles?

That's just wrong, on so many levels.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I would say Mo Taylor and Penny for D Miles, T Ratliff and R Patterson. Nah.

But on the other hand we don't need a super athletic small forward with no jump shot here. I think Ariza deserves minutes under that category.

LOL If you catch someone being hypocritical, call them on it. We all get a good laugh when someone ends up with the proverbial foot in the mouth.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

If what we've been hearing about him working on his game in the offseason is true, then he'll most likely stay. Larry Brown likes players with a good work ethic.

I like Timmy, and Like Miles.

I like TT's game and fully expect him to rebound...he lost his sister and mother (same undisclosed illness) and suddenly had to take care of his nieces (sp?) and nephews...if that doesn't make you lose a little focus on the court, I don't know what would...but he battled through it and finished the season strong.

it's behind him...he's ready for a contract year monstrosity!

Penny, H20 and any two of the 4 headed PF's can go...everybody else stays!

I don't like Darius or Tim, but they're completely different players. Tim is one of the best shooting small forwards in the league who brings little else to the table. Darius is a horrible shooter, a terrific shotblocker, good scorer, solid rebounder, good ballhawk, nice defender. Just because they have similar frames (Darius 6'9" 220lbs; Tim 6'10" 240lbs) and a similar confused look on their faces at times does not mean they are the same player.
