Don't worry about the nets, we go our own way. They do whats right for them, and we do for ours.

I know it sounds like there are more Nets fans than Knicks fans here!

Excuse me but what have McInnis, Vince, or SAR ever won before? They have alot to prove before I call them part of the best team in the Atlantic. Until Vince and Kidd can show that their knees can hold up throughout the season AND the playoffs I'm not worried about the Nets at all.

Hey man, that is the way things to around here, if those guys were in knicks uniforms they would be labeled career losers and malcontents, now they are with the nets, WATCH OUT!!!! I am not buying it, not at all... No one is scared of Mcinnis, reef or the nets for that matter, I don't care if kid elevates their games or not...

Kidd is a great PG but not what he use to be. reff is a good scorer but unproven under pressure RJ great talent but out of control and carter is a amazing but come playoff time he is a none factor ask charles Oakley....Nets may win division maybe go to eastern finals but they will not win the gold...
Does my faith show? Go Knicks!!!

Teams like Detroit win a title and still add McDyess and Arroyo. Indiana gets Artest back and the have doods like Harrison, Sarunas Jasikevicius, Granger and other coming in to an already stacked team.

What do the Nets do? They bring in a starter in McInnis to back up Kidd. The signed a guy that can get 20 and 10 on any given night. They already have Vince and will have a healthy Jefferson. They got tons of youth and veterans mixed up on the bench. They are ready to make another run.

Miami might get Antoine Walker and Wagner soon. Those two players are exactly what they were missing against Detroit in the playoffs.

The Knicks will be better with Brown....but the Knicks are not on the level of Detroit, Indiana, Miami or the Nets......even Clevland and the Wizards have gotten better....

Stop thinking Ariza is the cure. The Knicks need to get better. because the rich keep getting richer.

As a whole their bench sucks...sucks bad. Who scares you off their bench?

McInnis, Wright, Collins and Robinson is an excellent bench. Also a factor is the fact that they remain flexible. Last year Thorn traded for Vince Carter. He added great production for little money. McInnis and Rahim can fill out a stat sheet and they combine for about $8mm a year. Thats less than we pay Mo T. They have options if things dont work out.

That remark is just a backhand slap to knicks fans, what makes you think that we think ariza is the cure? come on man save the drama, we believe that by adding pieces like ariza, frye, lee, nate, draft picks, guys like Q, etc that we will be better soon. You are talking about the nets, they may be better than us but that team is not winning anything and in two years when kidd is 34 and vince going on his 20th knee surgery where will they be? can they depend on Reef, or Mcinnis? come on man. i am not worried about what other teams do, i am into what we are doing and so far we are making strides, why make backhanded remarks because we don't have all our pieces in place yet?

I still can't wait to watch Nate burn out Kidd's knees. The biggest advantage the Knicks have over the Nets is that the Knicks can afford to play aggressive defensively--we got guys ready to step in at every position should anyone get into foul trouble. But let's say Reef picks up a couple quickies trying to body up Sweets or Frye...there goes your only legitimate front court threat! What if Kidd picks up a couple quickies trying to keep up with Marbs or Nate--here comes McInnis "OH NO! Not Jeff McInnis!" Nets have all their eggs in one basket--the starting five, or four actually. The drop off behind them is pretty significant and alters their game significantly.

Nets last year didn't have half team they have this year yet they banded together and made 8th seed when everyone thought they'd be lucky to win 28 games.

Your Nate/Kidd thing is true. Nate can go past Kidd (prolly most pg's in nba)but when Kidd is on Offense. He can just post Nate up all day.

Barring any injuries I have the Nets winning the whole east next year. With a very serious chance at a title. Being a Knick fan shouldn't cloud your basketball judgement I think a lot of people refuse to acknowledge the Nets because they feel the need to make the Knicks superior than the Nets.

Lets use fair judgement and lets not be biased.
