It's all right, I just thought you guys might've hit an 80's night party before hand or something.

I gotta admit that's a good line.

great job guys... I didnt even realize you started this thread

First of all a thanks to DJ for having me tag along. It was very cool. I met Marv previously, so it was great to catch up with him. Equally good to meet Killa, Hardcore, Wood and of course DJ. Great Knick fans & cool cats to the last. Hopefully we meet up again for opening night.

You guys posted all the goods already, but here's my 2 cents.

There was a guy really dogging Steph. He basicly said Marbury was selfish and why did all his teams get better when he left. Isiah said what most of us have, that those teams got 2-3 players back and got stronger in other areas. The highlight was when the guy said "I saw Marbury scowl at Tim Thomas during a game" and everyone started laughing and saying "We all scowl at Tim Thomas." ISiah also talked about when he played and how he would get on guys during a game and give them crap, and how more people said they didnt like playing with him than they did. Winning was the bottom line (and it still is)

On the backcourt and Marbury playing 2: he also talked about his playing days. When he had some of his monster scoring games, including the playoff game when he scored 40 on a bad ankle he was playing off the ball and Vinnie was playing point. He said it doesnt matter who does what, so long as they are doing what they are good at.

On Jackie Butler: said he thought he had a ways to go but would be a good pro. Didnt say if he would be on the roster or NBDL or whatever.

Couldnt reveal his "plan" as they have 29 enemies that will keep them from achieving it. He did say he confided in Mills, the Knick brass and Bonn3-PO what that plan was.

funniest thing for me? DJ is known by all these MSG guys like he's a made man or something. One guy goes "hey Su.. no salary cap questions this time." Pretty funny

THat's right - walking into MSG with dj is like walking into Odyssey 2001 with Tony Manero - suddenly you're the faces.

A guy tried to hate Steph saying how he scowls at Tim THomas when he misses a layup or something, and I yelled out, don't you scowl at Tim Thomas for some of that dumb **** he does too!?

Isiah asked if he ever watched him with the pistons or heard what his teamates said about him, basically implying that he was the same way. He wanted to win and hated when muthphuckas weren't playing their parts.

The kid was trying to diss Stephon and talk about Jason Kidd and so on, and Isiah asked him if he ever saw Jason Kidd play in Dallas and in Phoenix? Everyone started laughing, because the point was that J. Kidd was not being regarded as the best PG in B-ball until he moved to NJ and started winning. He said that will happen as they start to put players around Steph.

hahaha - CLASSIC

it was pretty cool meeting you guys as well.

fish - we hung out till 1030 outside just talking knicks - it was CRAZY. and like marv said, scoping out every single girl walking around. at one point, like 5 knicks city dancers just walked out and we were like "whoa".

killa and marv - that was great. just BS'ing for 2-3 hours outside like a bunch of old drunk men at the park playing chess.

hardcore and woodman - what can i say? you guys are REAL HARDCORE knicks fans.

btw, before isiah came out, marv was telling us how david lee reminded him of bobby jones. and what does isiah say - "david lee is like a bobby jones". great stuff.

Excellent work fellas. One day I hope to get to those sessions (gotta be ticket holder first), but you guys are doing an excellent fobof bringing the news back to the masses and I personally can't thank ya'll enough. I've always been an IT fan growing up and even tried to pattern my handle after his, while growing up. Tha last 18 months are so were rough, not so much because of what IT was doing, but rough listening to other people trying to figure out what IT was doing and didn't have a clue. IT is doing his thing in NY and he'll do all right by us. Thanks again fellas and if you got more info, put it out there for the rest of us to enjoy.
