Trevor Ariza.

Under Larry Brown? It's a no brainer.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I pick Hakim Warrick for most surprising rookie.

For most improved, maybe Jason Hart.

How about Caron Butler?

HC.. good call, I was thinking Ariza also.

Breakout players:
Dalembert
Ariza
Haslem
Igodala
Al Jefferson

I know thats 5 but I think they all up their game, production and have an overall bigger impact

impact rookies:
Ike Diogu
Rashad McCants
Nate Robinson

I'm sure some of the other guys will have better numbers but those 3 really will raise people's eyebrows

How is Ariza going to break out? Is he going to dunk with more authority? Because he sure as heck will not be lighting up the opposition with his jumper! As far as impact rookies go I have to go big and say:

Bogut
May
Simien

Their experience will help them contribute right away.

My breakout player is still TJ Ford--when you have options like Redd, Mason, Simmons, Bogut--and even Joe Smith to pass to, you should rack up a ton of assists.

tj ford.

Great call. I just hope the kid can come back and have a career in the NBA.

more minutes for one... he played what? 15 last year? I could see him quickly establishing a big role w/ LB as we know he does 3 things LB loves and does them well. He creates/passes he boards and he plays D. His jumper got better end of last year, but when I say breakout I thinking something like 11 points, 7.5 boards, 1.5 steals and 3.5 assists in 30 minutes.

I love the TJ Ford pick also. Exciting player, great kid. Would be good for the league

Here is a bold prediction, Frye will finished a close second in ROY behind Bogut.
I was able to make this prediction using the Dido. May the Dido be with all of you.

Ben Gordon....He was great last year but I think he will breakout bigtime in the scoring column this year.

Also...the one mentioned a lot already...but I think Larry Brown is gonna love Sweetney and he will do great this year.

Also watch out for Nick Collison in Seattle...

Since you like to poo poo on others selections. Answer me this, did TJ Ford develop a hidden jumper somewhere while rehabbing that I didn't know about. Assist alone won't be considered a breakout.

I gotta change mine.

Kwame Brown and Jerome James.

Dwight Howard was good last year, i don't think he will be most improved. If Kwame starts putting up 15 and 8 this year, hes gonna get the award.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
