This was a good article. I agree about the Channing Frye part too. I think a lot of people are expecting him to get big minutes this season, but the guy is real real real skinny and doesn't have a lot of strength, especially in the legs, and that's what Larry Brown looks for in players. Guys who can box out and play defense down low. Frye is a real good player and I have some nice expectations for him in the future, but I wouldn't be surprised if he barely gets over 20 mpg this first season. The guy is just as skinny as Ariza, but is a post player. People who compare him to Camby are dumb. Being skinny and not having much strength is a combination for disaster. He needs to beef up more.

The Crawford and Quentin parts were were very interesting. If they remain the players that they were last season, they both may barely get any playing time, and I can see Brown begging to get them traded, and if Marbury byatches about Browns system, you can guarantee that he'll be calling for the Marbury trades too. All 3 of those guys could potentially be gone. I can see Brown trying to keep Houston as a veteran presence.

Marb learned his lesson. He will not voice his opinion about a Brown system to the media...He will keep it in house...

I mean some of the things he says is ridculous. Like Brown not liking 3 pointers, when in fact he doesn't like players relying on the 3 and think they should get the best shot available. Please tell me a coach in the NBA who doesn't agree about that. Riley went so far as to say that the 3 pointer is fools gold. What Chad does is try to pass off his opinion as stated fact when he gets call on it, like the Marbury trade, he retreats and begin to alter his story. Now he went from that Isiah was trying to trade Marbury to that Marbury won't be traded because there are no takers. He is not the only one, Scoop Jackson, Stephen A. is right up there too. They report quarter truths and fill in the blanks.

sundov is a FA, but i think he will go to training camp and see if he can do any good.

So sundov is gone... lol

Jermaine Jackson is gone as well... now that we have nate... but who knows. Larry Brown loves defensive veterans
Marbury is finally home at MSG!
