Gooden isn't 6' 10. stop it man and why would the Cavs want Crawford and his contract when they have Hughes.

If Gooden is an upgrade over Sweetney then why wouldn't they just keep Gooden and you can stop folling yourself thinking Gooden is better than anything we have.

Gooden isn't a pf and he isn't a sf. At least Sweetney is a pf.

i THINK IT'S WORTH IT.

IT GIVES US an upgrADE at pf, AND allows us to move mARBURY TO SG EVERY ONCE and AWHILE, exACTLY WHat brown did with iverson. in fACT, SNOW MIGHT EVEN GET THE NOD TO STart AT POINT, B/C Larry loves defensive minded pg's. he's ALSO CLOSE TO 6-3, SO WHERE WE GIVE UP IN HEIGHT at the 2, we gAIN at the 1.

i like crAWFORD'S gAME, BUT I THINK WHEN YOUR a plAYOFF BOUND TEam, A PLayer like him just won't crACK THE STarting rotATION. I THINK HE'S DOOMED TO COME OFF THE BENCH FOR US FOR around 20 MPG for the next few yeARS. ONLY PROBLEM WITH THat is thAT HE deserves more. he's AN EXCELLENT Talent thAT'S STILL LEarning how to plAY. HE COULD Easily give A TEam like the CAVS 20, 5, and 5.

with NaTE ON BoARD, I REally see no rEason why CrAWFORD IS UNTOUCHable to some of you. Besides, who the hell is gonnA STart for us AT pf -- sWEETNEY? i'M JUST NOT COMFORTable with thAT...
I agree we need an upgrade at PF, but Crawford is just as capable of averaging 20, 5, and 5 here as he is in cleveland. Also, i don't know if they would want him because he and Hughes are kind of redundant. With that being said, i agree that based on the make up of our team, Crawford is expandable, particularly for a PF, i just don't know if Gooden is the one.
My thoughts exactly.

I think Gooden is definately an upgrade over Sweets. I mean even if all things are equal (both defensive liability, both have potential to average 15 and 10) Gooden is in better shape, is taller, and has a more well rounded inside outside game, IMO, than Sweets.

The problem I have is there is no way I include Craw in this trade....First I don't think Cleveland needs him, second paying Craw and Sweets is overkill..

Now throw down a trade of Sweets and a future pick for Gooden and we can talk.

And Gooden has about a zero BB IQ. To me Gooden is that much better than JYD. He is a knucklehead, and has been deemed uncoachable by a couple of veteran coaches. Yeah that's the type of guy the Knicks need to get. And besides the guy is the best example of a tweener. He has no post game so he is ineffective as at the 4 and he doesn't have the handle or ability to take guys off the dribble so he is useless at the 3. He benefits from zone defense so he can just wander around. He can play decent man to man, though.

Uncoachable and gets 15 and 10...someone has to be doing something right. Hell IF we are going to have LB as coach he is very skilled at coaching players and getting them to learn. If the only problem with Gooden is his BBall IQ but he will still be in shape and with a LOW BBall IQ he is averaging 15 and 10....Sweets is overweight and may not average more than 20 minutes a game!
