Zeke is in Long Island talking with Brown...just reported on ESPN radio

conspiracy theories are running wild.

i will say this, this is marbury's last shot. if LB's brown in tow, isiah can now go back on his "we don't roll like that" comment about marbury and move him. i think marbury has AT LEAST one more year here. but come next summer, everthing's game.
great!

dj! CRaw has been lost as a player since his arrival in the league...He had the same problem playing in Chicago. There is no doubt in my mind that he is a talented kid, but unlike a smart player, he just can't play in a good system. For Crawf to be effective, he can't play in a system oriented team. He is like a wild stalion. I am sorry, It is very hard for a guy who is from the street to adjust to civilization. I know that most love him because of the crazy dunks that he has made a couple of times, but how many games have we won????? How many bad shots did he take??

i guess you gave up on him already. i looked at his signing as a $56 mil lottery pick that needed to get developed. i'm willing to wait another 2 years on him.

from the street? i saw him put some "gray poupon" on his kenny rogers chicken wings.

i think you are selling crawford short, what I saw last year toward the end of the year, was a guy who took less 3's and played more under control. Doing that consistently is something he has to learn, the thing I like about crawford and this is key in a player for me, is that he can get his shot off, anywhere and anytime he wants and any player, that adds to the dynamic nature of this kid as well as his erractic play, but once he learns to harness all this talent the sky is the limit.
Anyone who sits around and waits for the lottery to better themselves, either in real life or in sports, Is a Loser............... TKF

craw has a long way to go to be a really really consistent and solid player BUT i attribute alot of that to not knowing his role here. i think he needs structure and role definition for him to thrive and that's what he'll have under LB.

he may have that under herb as well if herb comes back and puts a system in place. on the fly coaching, especially with a change midway - AND his 4th coach in the league, doesn't works with him. he needs structure from the get-go and a CLEAR definition of his role.

I think Crawford should fit right into the line of talented players who don't have a clue right now how to utilize that talent. You don't give up on them you try to educate them. Dido, you sound like a idiot when you use terms like it is hard for someone from the streets to adjust to civilization. Didn't know Jamal was homeless.

I was going to get on you for calling me an idiot, but I will let it go. Look, I am not saying that Crawfford will not be a good player, all I am saying is that given the fact that Larry may endup as our coach, it would be behooved the Knicks' organization to try to make his job as easy as possible. Crawf/Marb/TT and many others have never learned how to play the game properly...out of the 3, Crawff is still young and is a much better trade asset at this point. If we can trade him for a much SG/SF (Carter or Paul Pierce), I would do it. I prefer Carter, because he is a Carolina guy who would thrive under Brown like Sheed did. Larry teaches and practices good fundamentals: great passes, high percentage shots, move your feet on defense with your hands extended chest high, and most of all, be able to cover for your team mates...

ROFL! I think Jamal 'dribble between my legs, then hoist a shot with a defender in my face' Crawford will benefit from brown.
