Hey man your website is awesome keep up the great work.

Haha thanks. A bit off topic though.

Just to get it back on topic - I wonder how Air-riza will do next year. While he's athletic as hell, and I know the big knock on him is his jumper or lackthere of, there are times his one on one D was a little raw. Anyone remember Kobe abusing him? I'd like to see a coach who can turn him into a great defender.

I think Ariza needs a coach who can devlop swing players, and I don't know if we have any. It seems like we have a bunch of assistants who are all about working with bigs, but I'm not aware of anyone who has special prowers in working with SF's or SG's.

Larry Brown if he dose come here seems like a great coach when it comes to developing swing players, he did a great job with Prince and Rip, neither one of those was a made player when he got them. I wonder what other young swings Brown had on his teams, and ohnestly I'm to lazy to look it up, so if anybody feels like it, go at it lol.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I think Larry Brown will find a completely different way for Marbury to play. Marbury is an amazing talent that will finally be realized. Larry Brown made Iversons career and saved Billups. I cannot wait for him to come in. I think this is the best thing that has happened to the Knicks since Ewing left. I hope we dont trade Marbury and I hope he wins a few playoff series. I am getting pumped for this season.

Starting lineup: Marbury, Crawford, Q, Sweetney and JJ. I dont think thats our best lineup but I think thats who LB will run.

I agree man! the best thing that happened to us since Ewing left! Last year's Knicks had talent but atrocious coaching and absolutely no defense. This year's team has some guys who like to play defense and player hard and we have plenty of weapons....with Larry coaching we're going to make some noise. Just think what Brown will do for guys like Sweetney, Marbury, crawford & ariza. He might even get the best out of JJ and he can be a huge force if he just learns to stay out of foul trouble. If you think about it, if this frontcourt pans out with Frye doing really well scoring, JJ playing well & Sweetney learning to stay out of foul trouble by picking up stupid fouls there's actually reason to look forward to a detroit like championship run. I definitely think by 2006-07 and nate, frye & lee with a year under their belt, the knicks are going to be amazing! I can't wait til the season starts!

The lineup I want to see is:
C-Frye
PF-Sweetney
SF-TT
SG-Q
PG-Marbury

I don't think it will be JJ & Sweetney in the starting frontcourt. We would be extremely slow. Frye & Sweetney compliment each other beautifully! Sweetney will work his behind off on the boards to compensate for Frye. And Sweetney will score inside while Frye scores from all over the court. One thing I think we're missing is a midrange shooter like Rip Hamilton but we'll see once the season starts! Did I mention I can't wait for it to start!

I was just wondering. It wants a athletic team that gets up and down the court. Is this what Brown wants, I mean his team in detroit was anemic offensively a lot of times. I sure don't want that here.. Also the olympic team didn't run as much either and they had the horses...

Ariza's jumper has improved, and was evident last season. I believe both that and his D will continue to improve this coming season.

We should still make sure TT gets time to showcase so he'll have more trade value come the deadline.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

TT doesn't need time to showcase...he has a desirable contract that teams will need. After 10 games if TT doesn't play well, send him to the bench...JYD/LEE/ARIZA can provide the defense that we will need to be a much better defensive ball club.

It is simple, TT just has to give the Knicks: 15 points, 6 rbs, 2 apg. if he can't do that, he is not worthy of no more than 10 mpg.

We should still make sure TT gets time to showcase so he'll have more trade value come the deadline.

Considering that we're referring to TT, those stats can be considered a showcase, especially since other players have to get some burn too.

What...no Ariza? Lee will be backing up Frye at PF and Rose will be backing pu JJ at the Center position. jackie butler will not be the player that puts Reezy on the 3rd squad...IMHO.
