when are we going to get rid of one of these PF's?

Rose is the most tradeable because he's played for a champion. Other teams want that. JYD, reasonable contract.

I think we're going to end up sticking with MoT and Sweets, though I've gone on record saying sweets is the odd man out.

i'd be happy with Rose and MoT, trade sweets and Jyd and penny and keep TT.

That team would make me extremely happy...we know rose can body up with the best of them defensively (back up c) and MoT can post up like a monster (PF), Frye and james are all good and I'm pretty sure zeke is going to go with both of them and who ever gets if fould trouble first is replaced by MoT or Rose and Frye shifts (or james) to the Center position.

Sounds like a solid rotation if you ask me.

Marbs/nate/Crawford
Q/Crawford/Nate
TT/Q/Ariza
Frye/MoT/Lee
JJ/Rose/Butler

all kool aid all the time.

20/5boards and 4 assists ar not good numbers??? You are all crazy. Frye is a star in the making....If he can produce those numbers with Marb and JJ and Q, he will be rookie of the year....Let's not forget that he will block shots also.

also, with lee gobbling up all the boards, how many more are available?

Maybe he should elbow lee in the mouth so his stats can make you feel better.

Agreed, Diderton. He appears to have had an outstanding game against the #1 pick.

I just want to actually see a game. Considering how the stat people in SL are all terrible, this is all so subjective.

For all we know Frye has 12rbds and whatnot. Or he had 2. Who knows. If Nate can get credited with 0 assts when he had like 6, then who knows.

That's why I have restrained myself from posting anything about Frye after every time I see a boxscore, and now apparently since there is none, when I hear a rumor, that somebody got within the ballpark of 20pts. This has got to be the worst coverage ever.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I have seen 4 of the 5 summer league games, ( i'm in Tennessee ) i was very impressed with our draft picks ! Frye really had only 1 bad game and the other guys were very consistant through the SL and that is the main reason why i just don't understand all the negative statements about Frye when most have only seen stats and not the game ! Believe me stats don't always tell the story of the game or how the player played ! You can have a poor shooting game but still hustle and play defense whick doesn't show up in the stats !
Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!

I don't care about Frye scoring. I'm pretty sure he can avg 12-14 points as rookie if he plays major mins. I'm worried about him rebounding. In order to have good fast break team. You gotta have good rebounders to grab ball and get it to pg and start to run.

Defense and rebounding will come for Frye-- he'll need to work at it. He seems bright enough (he did graduate college, folks!) and articulate enough (perhaps an all-interview team candidate) that you figure the rest will fall into place.

From other threads, it looks like a lot of people are saying he's got the offensive game of a young Rasheed Wallace (perhaps w/o 3pt range).

Looking at his numbers, Rasheed has averaged 6.9rpg for his career, only breaking 8rpg twice.

I think Frye is a future starter in the NBA... his upside is probably as a fringe all-star--- but centers don't really need to do too much for consideration.
