I can't believe a Knicks fan has something bad to say about this dunk...amazing.

Man, the day after we win the Championship there will be long-azz, drawn out posts from the same pseudo-haters who jawjack and nitpick every move the Knicks make now. It's weasy to pick 'em out- just read the posts from all the ones who have nothing better to do than talk about how bad everything about the Knicks is right now. To pitiful pessimists like those, the sky is always falling.

Real fans just quickly dismiss the pessimism with optimism, or just ignore the silliness altogether.

KNICKS IN '06, BABY!!!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I am not complaining about the kid, because I know that he can ball. I am just concerned because we all know that If Larry is the coach one of the thing that he will preach is: sharing the ball. We have too many individualists in our team. Marb has collected clost to 10 assists, but folks still want to get rid of him because they claim that he doesn't make his team mates better. What the Knicks really need out of a backup PG is a guy that can really run the team. I appreciate guys like Nate that is a freakish athlete....I have yet to see him play the game especially with the current squad, therefore I am a little reserved about what he can offer us.

Dide, whats wrong? Excitement at the Garden is just something that we've lacked for so many years! Nate dunking is great, but you don't see us only talking about his ablilty to dunk, we also have talked about how great he has been getting assists, making this summer league team look like that, a team. He is a great player, has good fundamentals along with excitement. Didin't you see in the video how he saw his mate posting up, shooting and all the guys positioning for the rebound and how quickly he moved to get the offensive rebound, thus creating the chance for the dunk? That was great!

Nate is not a pass first point. He is a shooting guard. He will learn that he can penetrate, but must see the floor better and dump it out for the open man.

other than Camby, and of late Reezy, we have had very few athletes on the roster capable of playing above the rim. Dido, its just fun, but your right, wins over dunks anyday! But for now, Dunks will have to do!

Deffinitely wins over dunks, but sometimes a dunk gets you a win. No, seriously, we have to remember that these are rookies and that they will learn how to help a team once their NBA career starts. Im sure that if Brown comes in he will help these kids because imagine if Nate became a great passer, along with his quickness and athletism! As of now, I can only hope they win a lot, but since this is just another good step in the right direction, I'll be happy with wath the rooks can bring year one...

I would consider starting him... I'm pretty sure he will outplay guys like Crawford in camp. He's a football player and hits the glass and plays D like a football player. Put him and Marbury in the backcourt together with Q at the 3 and Frye/James and I think you have a team thats very tought to matchup with.
Nate
Marbury
Q
Frye
James
bench: Crawford/Ariza/Sweetney/Lee/JYD/Rose/Taylor
NBDL: Tim Thomas (j/c) and Butler. There is a roster problem eith James here now unless its a S&T

That dunk was amazing. I am really looking forward to this guy. He is very quickly going to be my favorite Knick after Stephon.

I think with Nate it gives us an option to think out of the box. Its hard to say your going small in the backcourt the way Nate plays D and crashes the glass.

I totally agree. He's gonna really embarrass some people. i'm just gonna be really pissed if someone undercuts him while he's flying.

thing with Nate is the more you watch him the more you see just how in control he is. He doesnt just attack the rim. He's got finger rolls, tear drops and a nice pull up jumper. He flat out gets lost in traffic though, and you see him crash the boards like a forward. Guards arent used to having to put a body on a 5'8 player like they would a guy built like Q. The real wild card with Nate is his defense. He's so strong and can really pressure the ball. This isnt a guy you want to attack on offense like you would a Damon, Boykins or Mugsy.

You know Nate is going to be ridiculous on video games--this little guy flying around the court and dunking from out of nowhere...there will be no one like him.
And the reply is...a post that makes sense (still waiting)
