That would be something. Now, the question is, how possible is that...

The Philly deal isn't that bad. I really want to keep Marbury, but Dalembert is pretty good value and he would fit our team nicely. The Atlanta deal on the other hand, is just horrible. No way I do that trade unless we got picks in return.

You're telling me TT is your shooting guard? It would be very weird to have a team with all those players. Thanks God that won't happen...

Well thats what I'm saying...It's a weird lineup. Sweetney would be gone to DC in the Kwame Trade, and Marbury would be gone in the Walker trade, so I dunno. I'd love to see Nate get some time at the PG, but something tells me he's a backup PG, which he basically is.

If he makes a deal, what are the chances we are under the cap when Lebron and Wade become free agents?

I wish we were able to get under the cap when they are free agents. Do you think Isiah will ride the pine for 2 years? I doubt it.

Good question. If we get a C like Dalembert, I would love to have Lebron as our go-to-guy, so getting expiring contracts would be important.

Oh God, it's like Chad Ford comes on here to read my posts. Marbury for Dalembert is one of the FEW FEW scenarios I would do, in order to trade Marbury. We get the big of our dreams, and we give Crawford and Nate Robinson the opportunity to have a lot more minutes than they were going to get.

C-Dalembert
PF- Frye/ Sweetney/ Lee/ Malik/ JYD (Daaaaang)
SF- Ariza/ JYD
SG- Richardson/ Houston maybe for 10- 15 minutes? and McKie
PG- Crawford/ Robinson

Still gotto clear that PF glut and make some decisions concerning that. Isiah also has to make a decision on what HE wants to do with Houston.

Imagine, just for a second, that we trade Marbury for expiring contracts and young players. With the young players developing we don't win a lot. We make the lottery two years in a row, each getting in the top 5 picks, while we get rid of most of the big contracts. We have a chance to sign one of these players and drafting the next great Center in 07. I can dream too...

I wonder how many games a team of the players below would win next year.

PG: Crawford, Nate Robinson
SG: Q-Rich, Trevor Ariza
SF: Ariza/JYD/Lee
PF: Frye/Kwame/Lee/Rose/Taylor
C: Dalembert/Kwame/Butler

That would be really unpredictable. But it's a lot of young talented players and the team would have huge upside. Unless something's wrong with Marbury's knee that we don't know about, I'd still much rather keep him than get a *prospect* (e.g., Devin Harris, Samuel Dalembert) for him.

Easy: trade Sweetney and Rose to the Wizards

C-Dalembert/Kwame
PF- Frye/ Lee/ JYD
SF- Ariza/ JYD
SG- Richardson/ Houston maybe for 10- 15 minutes?/ McKie
PG- Crawford/ Robinson

I hadn't read your post already. I guess you were about 5 min ahead of me with lineup rotations.

I don't know if I consider Dalembert unproven anymore. He really showed me something in the playoffs the past season, particularly with his hustle. He really made a big impact on the game and this was against the best defensive team. Dalembert problem is he's raw on the offensive end, but he has shown some flashes. But he's currently the exact opposite of Marbury. He's a defensive beast down low with some quickness, which Marbury is an offensive Monster on the perimeter with power. Yes, I consider Marbury to be the better player, but I do think that the loss of Marbury for a guy like Dalembert wouldn't be as drastic to the offense as one may think, cause others will have to pick up the pace. This is a team that can learn from everyones mistakes, and eventually become a real good team that GREW UP TOGETHER. Problem is, where's the leadership? Houston? Malik? JYD?

JYD would be a great leader and the captain of the team in my opinion. He has the heart and deterimation of a winner.
