Anybody happen to glance at the production level of Kwame in
comparison to another castaway highschooler after 4 years? Like
Jermaine O'Neal? Their body make-up is very similar and the level of
production is too, though Kwame got more minutes and starts. This was
probably based on the player Jermaine was able to turn into once given
a chance on a Pacers team coached by IT.

Kwame

If IT really thinks he can take the 23 year old Brown and turn him into a real good player, then i believe him. Brown could be the missing link in a few years. I don't see that potential in anyone else we have a shot at. It also helps that he reminds of Jermaine O'Neal, both his game and his career to that point.

kwame is not new york ready...the fans and media would eat his lunch on a daily basis. hunter likes winning with the suns, i doubt if he would blink an eye for ny.....who knows more money has a way. this leaves chandler who i believe may want to exit chi-town in favor of zeke over skiles.

hey, maybe zeke can go after danny fortson and company in some blockbuster trade this summer

Player......Min....Pts...Boards...Blocks
Chandler....27.4...8.0....7.3......1.4
Brown.......21.6...7.0....4.9......0.4
Hunter......13.8...4.6....3.0......1.3

Conclusion: Chandler's the best rebounder; Hunter's the best shot blocker; Brown hasn't shown much at all.

that is why I am curious about what Isiah and the rest of the Kwame lovers on this board see in this guy...Kwame has had ample amount of playing time to prove that he belongs, but he failed. Chandler has been plagued by injuries, but Hunter has not been a featured player in this league. The little time that he got in the playoffs, he proved that he can play...Forget about Kwame's muscular frame, ask yourself whether or not he made the best of the minutes that he got...

lol......danny's braids using a little refinement may be catchy in new york.

look here, new york faces miami in the playoff with kwame, hunter or chandler doing time on shaq shoe laces....why?....because they can't defend shaq and the only person out there that can talk the talk while having the ability to take on shaq is danny fortson.

someone needs to show danny how to contain 1 foul for 10 minutes of play instead of 10 seconds

If you are looking for a guy that can defend Shaq, you might as well go for Dampier with his bad contract. I am sorry, but Detroit proved that you can eliminate Shaq out of contention by holding everyone else to a low production and allow Shaq to be shaQ..In fact, this season, we didn't do to bad Vs Miami, we just killed ourselves at the end of every games

Chandler shouldn't really be compared in that discussion... there is no way the Bulls let him go. If anyone on the Bulls is allowed to leave it will be the less productive Curry.

I believe that if Isiah made an aproach to him and told him that he would be part of the active players that will bring the winning attitude in NY, that along with the money can be pretty convincing. Sometimes is not about being on a winning team, its being part of the players that make you a winner. Here in NY he would have a more important role than in Phoenix...

Hunter's a scrub...i can't for the life of me understand the fascination with him on this message board...a bust like Kwame has 10 times more upside potential than Hunter does...i'd easily take either Kwame or Chandler if i could...forget Hunter...you can get guys like him out of the NBDL.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

For the Love of God, please stay away from Kwame....He has no brain, and most of all, he has no fire in his game what so ever. He is a passive dude that shows no emotion during the game...Not with TT and Crawfford around

he's also what only 23? Thats Sweetney's age! I think he'd be a great project in NY under Aguirre!

We don't need Hunter to be the statring Center, our savior. We just need size and a player that can play C for the time given to him from the bench. Hunter is a 7 footer and he played extremely well in the little time he was given. Give him a little more and you have a nice player off the bench..

what has Kwame done to make him a better player than Hunter???? nada...

http://hoopshype.com/players/steven_hunter.htm

If anything, the shot blocking that he can provide is exactly what we need to complement Frye...He is a pretty good rebounder also. Don't sleep on Hunter, if there is anyone that Agwire can help in the low post, it is Hunter. Worst comes worst, all he has to do is just block shots, which he already knows how to do...the rest will easily come...If Ben Wallace can do it, Hunter can also....

scouting report on this kid said that he is a very good shotblocker and very athletic and quick for a big man...

Utah is heavily trying to court Hunter into joining them...Isiah please wakeup my man...You have to take advantage of this opportunity....

Here is a question...Since we did that trade for Q, is it illegal to go after Hunter...

Sweetney refused to play in the summer league, should I interprate that differently??? Is Isiah truly in the process of moving this kid for Kwame? if so, it is a huge mistake. Any good financial analyst would tell you this, it is best to go for the cheaper deal than someone that may endup costing us an arm and a leg...
