I agree, but I wouldn't pay him $10 millions either...For $5 millions, I would say it is a good deal

The difference between Theo Ratliff and Diop or Bumtje is so massive, I can't even put it in words. Actually, I can: Theo Ratliff knows how to play basketball, specifically defense. The two fools do not. Please never mention them in the same sentence again.

If he gets released, he aint coming here.

Nazr probably really impressed them in the finals, but maybe.

If its not San Antonio- maybe its Phoenix or Miami- the point is, if Theo is released, he'll have a choice as to where to go & I doubt our record last year will impress him.

It is not even about last year's record...Last time I checked, Phoenix had a worst record a year ago...

...and rasho, and possibly scola who will help out alot.
i would'nt trade penny for theo, i'd rather sign him outright for the vet's min or most of the mle. i'd rather let penny come off the books, or use him in the middle of the season for something else. it would be more costly for us to trade for him due to the number of years and money he gets.
but i would like that pick up.

whatever, but Penny can't be on the roster at the beginning of the season. I am sorry, he and Houston killed our momentum last season...

good point. no doubt houston should be released, and if we could do something w/penny fine. but not a good idea to trade for theo when there gonna drop him anyway, and we could get him much much cheaper.

Kwame has the worst hands amongts all the guys that we have mentioned. That boy's hands are so small, he can't catch for ****..

Really? After a while I just kinda tuned him out.

I am pretty sure that Isiah is not thinking about overpaying anyone right now. We are at a point now where we don't have to overpay any player to play for us.

If we are looking at centers that could help us, especially defensively since we already have many scorers, Ratliff has to be a possibility. And more if he is waived. YOu can always offer him a decent contract to him and tell him that he would play a lot here and be part of a team that, with him playing good defense, can make the playoffs and who knows what else.

Its not like every player waived will end up in San Antonio to win a championship, ala Glenn Robinson...

No- but last year when Mourning was bought out, where did he go? We certainly could have used him.

I'd personnally probably prefer Damp (or Hunter) over Theo- but, if you want Theo and you're the Knicks- only way to be sure you're going to have him is to trade for him- don't think that is going to happen
