Though bynum was a good slection for LA> KNicks were interested. 3rd best center on the board. Will have a fine NBA career, people will be surprised. Wanted Frye all the way at 8. Bynum second choice.

Bogut will have a fine career..can pass, score, step outside. Makes his teammates better. Helps other players on both ends of the courts.

IT says he wants a coach that can lead men...

wanted frye all the way and didn't consider bynum at 8 unless frye was gone.

Most talented player in the draft: Zeke says he is biased. He thinks Frye and Nate Robinson are among the most talented. Both can play both sides of the court. Frye can step out, pass etc.

Would he ahve taken Frye over Marvin williams, deron williams, chris paul?

Would he have taken Frye no.1 over Bogut.....YES!!!

Allan Houston is rehabbing. IF he gets back we have a fine player. No escape clause as far as health in his contract. Won't be public about Allan's contract situation.

IT refuses to talk about Houston's contract manipulatively in a public forum

I am shocked that he said he'd have picked Frye over Bogut. I don't know if its just spin, but that is really shockign.

that is what politicians do...why say anthing different??? Frye is his man now, psychologically if he said anything different, that could come back and back fire...He did an excellent job answering the questions...

i don;t believe that for a second...if Bogut was there at #8 there's no way he wouldn't have taken him over Frye...i just dont' buy it.

If he means that, then he's an idiot, but maybe he's just trying to protect his new player, in which case, I can understand. However, he's opening himself up for more and more scrutiny.

I don't think so. Yesterday on the FAN he mentioned Bogut, Frye, Bynum in that order as the 3 centers in the draft. He was also gushing over Bogut when initially asked about him. I think he's being a politician. No way he'd say his player is worse than anotehr player in the draft.

sounds like exaggeration or poorly chosen spin. I can't see him actually doing that. I wouldn't get too worried about hypothetical past scenarios though.

Maybe he's flattering his own teammate like allanfan said.

Well, if you look around the league, just as many people think Bogut will bust as they do about Frye. Not sure I agree, Zeke's probably just being loyal to his guy.

But if we're takling about guys who will be better than Frye from this draft I think of Chris Paul, Gerald Green and Danny Granger first. Bogut I guess has a chance, but he seems like he could bust. But it's not like we needed perimeter players, we need an all-star level, or near all-star level big man. Hopefully Frye can deliver...
