He can still be traded. He's on a cheap rookie contract. There's absolutely no reason to think the option wouldn't be picked up. Nearly all players on rookie contracts (especially lottery picks) have their 4th yr options picked up.

Better get back a lot for Sweets. He is young, strong and a walking double double. Yes he could be in better shape but he's still young and a presence in the post. He's our best bounder and when the ball goes into him its either a score, foul or both. He still has to learn to move his feet on D to stay out of fould trouble.

A walking double double? Has he ever even had a double, double three games in a row? Sweeney has potential but the only thing he does consistently is play inconsistently.

That's only because he's been playing center for NY. Once he can slide over to his natural position, Sweetney will get his.
