Didn't McDyss & his knee teach you folks anything?

Curry is done, finished. If he plays, it will be at reduced capacity.

And what about Vin Baker??

They fixed his ticker and he improved so much he ended up at the end of OUR bench!!!!!

Just Say No to Curry.

Even if he signed for less than the MLE or even the MLE, its a roster spot.

Stephen Hunter and Dampier make sense.

If we take Dampier off Dallas' hands, we need to get just & adequate compensation for helping them.

Jamaal Magloire, Eddy Curry or Zydrunas Ilgauskas.... Maybe Desagana Diop.

Kwame Brown might be the actual pick though.. it may be easier to pry him away, especially with Washington drafting Blatche

My top center aquisitions;

Chris Anderson
Desagana Diop
Kwame Brown

You think I'm joking but let's get a potential guy at the 5 who can just rebound, block shots, run and set picks. That's all this guy needs to do on this team. Think about the team we have now, fast spread out, you don't want some clunker down in the paint. Anderson can jump over everyone with the floor spread out like it will be.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

No to James. He's not really all the coordinated and he fouls a lot.

Reguardless we need one more center for our rotation. My WISH list goes in this order:

Dalembert
Curry
Hutner = Brown
Gadz

lets say we cant get any of them....would you get james?

I forgot about Andersen. I'd go to him first. If I'm left with no other option I go with James.

I'd say Kwame, Pau, or Big Z because those are all guys Isiah has tried to get before but now actually may have the right assets to get.

Gadzuric would be my choice. He's the second best rebounder in the league (rebounds/48 min) and a good shot blocker as well. Losing Kurt, we need to make up those rebounds and Gadz will help. With our weak perimeter defense, a shot blocker is a good fit. I hope he goes for Gadzuric.

the right assets being 1st round draft picks for next year, and expiring deals. i cant see isiah trading any of our young guys(besides sweetney) or any of his picks from yesterdays draft.

He's perfect for what they want to do.

I like Chris Andersen the best.

Per-40 minutes, here is Andersen, Kwame, Stephen Hunter, and Gadzuric.

Chris Andersen (6'10", 230, turns 27 a week from Friday) per 40 minutes: 16 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks

Kwame Brown (6'11", 240, turned 23 in March) per 40 minutes: 16 points, 10 rebounds, 0.5 blocks

Stephen Hunter (7', 240, turns 24 on Halloween) per 40 minutes: 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 blocks

Dan Gadzuric (6'11", 240, turned 27 in February) per 40 minutes: 14 points, 15 rebounds, 3 blocks

To me, either Gadzuric, Hunter, or Andersen is a perfect fit. All can run, all of them block shots, and all of them (especially Gadzuric and Andersen can rebound).

I would totally stay away from Kwame Brown. He's a bum, if we haven't learned anything already from Vin Baker or Tim Thomas.

Gadzuric, Hunter, or Andersen, and the Knicks have themselves a team. Combine either of those with Frye, JYD, Malik, and Sweetney, and you have the semblance of a frontline.

Anyone but Dampier. I still want Curry if he checks out physically.

I've never been a big Curry guy.

At that size, you've got to pull down some rebounds. Frye at Arizona played in a guard oriented offense, and with his outside game, stood on the pereimeter a lot.

Curry is a bull, and plays down low. There is no reason he shouldn't pull down 10 boards a game at 6'11", 285.

Last year he averaged 5 a game in 30 minutes of work, that's pretty pathetic.

What do Curry's blocks and boards look like.

Curry plays a post up game. No one currently on the Knicks does except Sweetney who is 6'8". He also occupies space with his size. He can be taught to keep his nose under the glass.

James is who we need, because of his size....Frye will give up way too much size, therefore we need another big to help him out..

Taking into consideration his size, potential, contract, age, and the reality of acquiring him, I think the best guy we could bring would be Hunter.
