KT for Maggette trades were discussed on this board months ago & not given much consideration from most...it would be interesting if it actually went down...i always figured it would take a pick to be included from the Knicks' end, but if it has any truth to it i'd jump all over this if i were Isiah.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I heard it was a mistake on cold pizza now. they meant to say Richardson instead of magetti..... I certainly can see how they mix thos two up... (rolling eyes)

amazing how no one brought up the fact that Maggette is all stats and plays less defense than even Q! we would officially become the clippers of the east! and how much more money does Maggette make than Q?!

guns, they're similar talented players, both around the same age, same height (actually i think Maggette is listed as 6'6"), play the same positions...Maggette is more of a slasher & Q is more of a post up w/a penchant to launch balls from the outside.

btw, they both have similar contracts & years remaining...actually Q has 1 more year than Maggette does

I don't know I think Q would be a better. Fit he's a much better shooter than Maggette who shoots 30% from 3. and we could really use a guard who posts up the way Q does. When it comes down to it shooting is a hell of a lot more important than Slashing. That's why games winners from guards come from the perimeter. You can't slash when the defensive clamps down.

Thats why I say Maggette is all stats and Q would be a better fit and Q had a yr of experience playing on a playoff team and realizing that he has to further improve his game.

It is common knowledge that Maggette is all ststs.

AND WE'RE NOT GETTING A #1 PICK FROM LA!!!!!!! BOOOOOO

Ariza is 19 .. Magette is 26. I'll keep trevor and use kurt somewhere else thanks.

You don't want to part with Trevor. He knows the game well for a 19 yr old. He never really hurt us on the floor. Played great D... and was our only player above the rim. How long will Magette do that with his game, three more years? Your giving up too much.

no no... Maggette is a much better player. He gets to the FT a ton, and actually passes the ball. They have similar builds, but CM is a beast.

My gut reaction to a KT/Ariza for Mag + 2nd rounder trade was no, but thinking about it that trade is a steal for us.

why? He uses his body to draw contact very well. The guy draws a TON of FT's. He attacks the basket. He's not a back to the basket guy... he's more a slasher, but he's HUGE. A lot like Artest on offense.

anytime a coach, team, or a player want to start a rumor, they always use our loggo as bait....Why is that???? I just read that Isiah is trying to work on a deal to send Kurt to LA FOR BOTH KOBE AND ODOMS....

so? 25 isnt old. If he's good he will adapt his game. Hell... if KT can get better every year anyone can. He's got a lot of time playing at his current level so its a non issue with me.
