I think they made a good decision on Dragic, he's very unpredictable with his point guard play. Talented but at times unbridled. Since Harden was an early Target you don't need a ball dominant player, playing alongside Harden. It's like a having a poor mans Westbrook next to Harden. Lin is a good complement, he simply needs to be consistent with his play.
Say that again because it sounds like you are saying the same thing about Lin as you are about Dargic. Unpredictable and inconsistent. Also, not having someone else in Phx could be the reason for his ups and downs. Who knows. Hopefully Lin will grow as a player and gain his consistency. Right now he seems consistent at being inconsistent.
Dragic has been given the keys more so, there's no differing per say to anyone. There's a difference between unpredictable and inconsistent.
Inconsistent can be one night your shot is on one night it's off....one night you run the offense efficiently one night you make errors and turnovers. You play the same way every night for the most part but the results aren't consistent.
Unpredictable is someone like J.R. Smith you have no idea what you're getting will it be ALL-Star dunks, will it be unconsciousness from 3s, will it be high level rebounding, will it be ball distribution, will it be making clutch shots
