Adit: Asik got outplayed by Haddadi too...not good.

Lin had a bad game. Everybody except for harden had a bad game. Hadadi made a difference. He took away the lane. Beverley was as bad. Actually, worse than Lin. Parsons also looked bad. One of those games.

Beverley did not look worse than Lin....while he didn't do anything offensively as that's not really his role he played solid defense and didn't turn the ball over like it had some disease. 4th qrt last 6min, Lin was hella sloppy and he let Dragic abuse him for about 7-8pts

And no everyone did not play a bad game...this must be an attempt by you to stamp everyone down in effort to protect Lin.

Harden was spectacular but Parsons and Delfino contributed adequately in moments. Parsons got the team going early and Delfino was a safety valve all night. Very disappointed in Lin's performance he can't play this way. Every game matters for the Rockets here on out.

Lin has improved throughout the season but yesterday was a stinker

No argument on Lin. This wasn't even his worst game of the season. Beverley definitely looked horrible. Pace was off. His defense was not good either. The other suns PG had his way with him. Everyone looked bad except for harden. Maybe delfino's 3 pointers also looked good.

You want to say Beverley should play more than Lin? Fine. We agree to disagree. Lin for all his faults last night was able to push the ball. He created for Parsons and Asik. They jus didn't convert. Hadadi is a mountain of a man and he disrupted everyone except for harden.

While Beverley was on the floor he kept the point guards in check and kept multiple possessions alive....oh and the Rockets were down by 2 when PB came in for Lin and the game was tied when Lin came back 12min later. So the offense wasn't super sharp but the defense was solid...then went downhill as Lin came back, as Dragic went off down the stretch.

PB played 12 straight minutes enough time to give Lin a blow but the constant whining about Lin closing out games as if the results would somehow drastically be different is somewhat mythical, especially when the Rockets manage to win a lot of the games he sits watching most of the 4th. To be honest I would have liked to see what Brooks could have done last night I'm sure he'll get his shot soon enough. I would like to see the Rockets win and solidify their playoff spot and not hope glory goes to any 1 individual player on that team.

This is not a spur of the moment question but should Houston have kept Dragic instead of letting him go?

Yes but I think he wanted to go back to Phoenix. Not sure about his relationship with McHale but I know Lowry didn't want to play for McHale.

I believe the reports were that he would have stayed with Houston but wanted the extra year or something along the lines of 5 yr for 40 mil.

I think he would have been the better signing for them in that case.

I don't get why when you compare the two games. It just seems odd they would let a young player go for nothing. How nice would it been to have a guy that has been in the system along side Harden.

I think they made a good decision on Dragic, he's very unpredictable with his point guard play. Talented but at times unbridled. Since Harden was an early Target you don't need a ball dominant player, playing alongside Harden. It's like a having a poor mans Westbrook next to Harden. Lin is a good complement, he simply needs to be consistent with his play.

Say that again because it sounds like you are saying the same thing about Lin as you are about Dargic. Unpredictable and inconsistent. Also, not having someone else in Phx could be the reason for his ups and downs. Who knows. Hopefully Lin will grow as a player and gain his consistency. Right now he seems consistent at being inconsistent.

In that order

Harden has to many 5-23 nights and has to gain back his average defensive skills he showed in OkC.

He only has 2-3 of those maybe/mo you're embellishing, it's not like he's playing with All-Star caliber talent, he's IT. Just last month he shot near 50/50/85 which totally offsets your above statement. Oh and he also has several nights where he drops more then 6ast in a game.

The main reason the Rockets lost last night was because of Haddadi and Jared Dudley

WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR PEOPLE to accept that harden is special....

I don't want to jump the gun- I like it when players break out, but I need to see if he can get his team to the playoffs first of all, and then see what he does in the playoffs before I anoint him special status. He's done great so far- way better than I thought he would.

Dragic has been given the keys more so, there's no differing per say to anyone. There's a difference between unpredictable and inconsistent.

Inconsistent can be one night your shot is on one night it's off....one night you run the offense efficiently one night you make errors and turnovers. You play the same way every night for the most part but the results aren't consistent.

Unpredictable is someone like J.R. Smith you have no idea what you're getting will it be ALL-Star dunks, will it be unconsciousness from 3s, will it be high level rebounding, will it be ball distribution, will it be making clutch shots

Just check the box and what the heck is going on with Paul George? Well looks like Heat win will help the Knicks which is good.

Harden has been beasting since his 2nd season. Problem is dudes will start hating on him in a few years of Houston doesn't go deep in the playoffs.

No because they've beat the Heat 2 times prior to like we did...the Heat have won 18 in a row. It speaks volumes about the Heat and nothing else. No one is beating them and no team is "built to beat them"...all mythical

Matter of fact the last time the Heat lost it was to the Pacers...

Heat are making it look easy. Knicks and Orlando have given them the biggest scare during this streak. They've absolutely destroyed everyone else.

Indiana is a good team, but they're not going to go far if their offense doesn't get going real well in the playoffs. Recently it seemed that their offense had really been rolling. But they just didn't have it today. What's worse is that it didn't seem like a ton of effort was there. They usually play a lot harder on D. Miami had a ton of open looks.

KIngs push them to OT. REfs push them to victory over Orl.
