When Lin is 30 and in his prime Felton will be close to retiring or at the end of the bench at 34. Probably fat too

Does Felton have a 6 year contract?

You mean you didn't hear about the special arrangement overheard at Dolan's BBQ?

The only thing I heard from the Dolan BBQ was that Nash was signing with the Knicks.

oooohhhhh Mchale is pissed at Lin...Dragic had his way last couple min of game. Lin real lazy, didn't foul him with Mchale wanting team to foul....This is what could get Lin in a real doghouse.

Lin had a bad game. Everybody except for harden had a bad game. Hadadi made a difference. He took away the lane. Beverley was as bad. Actually, worse than Lin. Parsons also looked bad. One of those games.

The "I told you so" with Lin got old for me. These off games are starting to make me not feel as bad.

The Definitive statement:

"if lin is not better tha felton now, he is younger."

Felton came from a great UNC program and was given every opportunity to succeed. Lottery money, starting NBA rookie and Larry Brown to tutor him. Felton is a very good player.

Lin tore it up in a much lessor league and team but had a very nice coach (Tommy Ammaker) to help him. He had every DISADVANTAGE coming into the league. With a contract he has the security to hone his craft and work on the things that don't just get him minutes to stick on a roster and get noticed, but be a better NBA player.

Maybe it takes more than one season to do it. The kid is having a very good season and perhaps what internet heroes look for is not what his team is looking for.

Harden has to many 5-23 nights and has to gain back his average defensive skills he showed in OkC.

31 and 10...Huge night for him. His assists numbers have really picked up of late. Not sure what we can do roster or money wise (haven't looked at at it, too lazy right now), but I'd definitely try all I can to get him this summer....

He choked big time against the Heat in the finals last year (big reason they lost)- I'm not giving him a top 5 placing until he's accomplished something in the playoffs without Durant and Westbrook.

Hmm- Pacers vs Heat should be interesting. My brain says Heat need to win to buy us a bit of breathing space over the Pacers, but my heart wants the heat to lose to stop their winning streak.

Beverley did not look worse than Lin....while he didn't do anything offensively as that's not really his role he played solid defense and didn't turn the ball over like it had some disease. 4th qrt last 6min, Lin was hella sloppy and he let Dragic abuse him for about 7-8pts

And no everyone did not play a bad game...this must be an attempt by you to stamp everyone down in effort to protect Lin.

Harden was spectacular but Parsons and Delfino contributed adequately in moments. Parsons got the team going early and Delfino was a safety valve all night. Very disappointed in Lin's performance he can't play this way. Every game matters for the Rockets here on out.

Lin has improved throughout the season but yesterday was a stinker

Nice to see him crack double digits in assists again. Usually when he does they win more than they lose. Nice to see the midget finally shoot over 40% too. Probably won't happen next game but as long as he keeps dishing the rock, it should prove to be a positive for their team.

He only has 2-3 of those maybe/mo you're embellishing, it's not like he's playing with All-Star caliber talent, he's IT. Just last month he shot near 50/50/85 which totally offsets your above statement. Oh and he also has several nights where he drops more then 6ast in a game.

The main reason the Rockets lost last night was because of Haddadi and Jared Dudley

Maybe I am wrong but I believe I saw he has had several(14) games where he shot under 40 %. He halso had nights many many nights at that of 8 TOs.

He is in your top 5 ok but not mine. It is what it is I am sure your consider your opinion is the better one. I got Parker ahead of Harden and even Wade but thats just me.

That hurts the team but you can't reduce the game to just FG% or TOs. He often goes like 15-15 from the line or gets 5 steals or 12 assists in those games. The inconsistent shooting is the reason he's below rather than even with the first 3 players on the list.
