I thought it would close, but didn't think Trump would have a chance. When Clinton was losing Virginia and barely won it, I knew she was in trouble.

Yes, but at the same time look at what she was battling: wikileaks, voter suppression, shady FBI actions late in the campaign, a con man who targeted low information/low education voters and got them to turnout for him. Plus being an awful candidate.

she brought it on herself. She was given a lot of support from the media, trumps antics, and even that clown obama who spent more time campaigning rather than do his job.

I can't believe this is actually happening! This is completely different than I expected this election to go.

BRIGGS' OP was very prescient It looks like. Instead of laying low this summer raising cash she should have been out there with her message. Times is saying 95% chance Trump now. Hey, the majority of mainstream pundits were wrong all year... why would they suddenly be correct now.

Incredible.

I am not sure Florida is over yet, there's something going on there. But it shows how much everybody underestimated the blue collar vote switch and overestimated the women vote.

i don't blame gary johnson or jill stein - i blame the idiot folks that voted for them...and they are idiots - no offense personally to anyone here but it is what it is.

this person's entire platform was based on race. blaming other races for why white people have been suffering. amazing.

I'm down in Georgia and I knew how these rural people think. It's something I've seen them do before.
These people are heavy into the culture wars. They constantly vote against their own best interests. This year is about the angry White vote. Welcome back to 1960 America.

Was Pence doing his job? You know he's a sitting governor, right? An example of the type of voter Trump appealed to.

everyone has a right to vote for who they want. I voted for trump but i wouldnt criticize anybody voting for hilary. This definetly was unexpected. I knew it was gonna be tight but there have been many twists today

If you want to see what a Trump administration would look like as far as economic policy. Look at Kansas, Brownback, and the results.
