Still learning on Hart.

it's great that this team has so many weapons and so many different ways to beat you, but it amazes me how Hart is still routinely underappreciated here.

I knew Shamet was going to have a key role in these playoffs before it was all over. Love that guy.

He's the weakest link. And, does a good Ben Simmons impression

Better man up. You've got to get past Mobley to face Wemby or Holmgren who are even more spidery

They will most likely put those guys on Hart so they can roam and avoid foul trouble. Mobley is the 4, not the 5. The are roaming Allen and having Mobley guard KAT. If they put Wemby on KAT that would be a wonderful thing.

The bounce on that Shamet 3 was unreal. It bounced out of the cylinder and then ricocheted back into the basket. From a physics stand point, I don't even know how that's possible because by my thinking it should have just continued going out. There was some magic in the garden last night.

Not sure if anyone caught the locker room interviews. OG is a funny guy. One of the reporters fumbled a question about what it's like having so many weapons on the team, and rather than roll with it OG acted like he had never heard that phrasing before.

Sure, but I'm assuming you're talking about your own nipples otherwise I'd say no that goes too far

Shamet has made a ton of money for himself last playoff series and again last night.

IDK about that. He can play, what he's doing it not new, but he's never been able to carve out a bigger role and has never really been a hot commodity. Hard to point my finger as to why, but I have a feeling he comes back at vet min next season. His vet min is almost $4m per so it's actually not too bad for him.

remember he had to accept a non guaranteed vet min invite this summer, and he's had seasons like this before. I think he loves NY though and stays.

I agree with Phil that Shamet has increased his payday considerably. He's mature, poised and rises to the occasion -- that last point has super value to any playoff team because a lot of players unfortunately wilt.

On the flip side Mitch is hurting his value immensely because his poor FT shooting and hack-a-mitch are big deals for playoff teams. It's not like he needs to shoot it at 70+% either.

McBride IMO also hurt his value. I know his advanced stats are great but he has been a huge dud in this playoffs other than Philly game 4. He is a liability at pg, and I say that wishing it weren't so. He just dribbles the ball for 6-8 sec, realizes he has no idea what to do with it, and then passes it like a hot potato. He is a small 2, and even then he can't create off the dribble. I love him but his price IMO is very limited. Small super streaky shooter, and not the great defender he used to be.

Shamet's profile has gone way up with the Knicks. He will have a higher price tag in the future for sure. He has proven himself to be consistent two-way contributor.

Perfect rotation on the ball.

It’s crazy how this seems to happen more in the playoffs. There was the kawhi shot from years ago in Toronto. Then RJ’s this year. Then that punk ass MF from the Pacers last year ( forget whether that was against Cavs or us) all in super critical moments

one of two things:

1. Adam Silver conspiracy. He has a little device in his little pocket and it pulls the ball down. Or not as was the case the other night. Two buttons. I read a report of a report of a report from a friend who read a reaport that silver pressed the wrong button. Despite that he on the record of being a knick fan it serves the league best that knick fans think they are victims.

2. All eyes on the playoffs and thus have these indelible memories.

3. That punk ass did it to us. It hurt.
