Add 5 minutes to Harts total due to OT. Math.

Just an avalanche of things had to occur.

Said this in a prior post - I was yelling at the TV don't foul. Even if they knock down a 3 we are tied and have the ball with ~13 seconds left. When you stop the clock and give them points via FT with zero time elapsing it's just dumb - especially when your guys choke at the line.

I would say the above ALL the time I'm not a put the other team at the line guy.

But like you said - zero time off the clock OG in great position. Make them knock down another tough 3.

Well, Yelling at the tv is helpful. Too bad it don't yell back?

Yes, it was a choke and Hali enshrined now as a top villain. Now perhaps one can understand why Thibs does not pull players off the court too soon because this is the NBA and lightening can strike. Want to yell about a young man who under pressure in the Mecca destroyed us and all you got is he put out the choke sign and and he annoys you? That shot dropping thru was incredible theatre. Nesbits shots time and time again leading to it was incredible. Daggers for two minutes!
Its not like its a systemic issue for knicks........They don't collapse like that often.

Chander, take the loss like a man. Not some entitled fanboy. Grow a pair. Look at you man, he in your head cause you let him. You do understand that WWE thing with Brunson as is all wrestling is kind of made up, right? You do see that fans near the court were yelling **** at him all night? You think cause he in the "Mecca" he should not have reacted as he did? He ****ing earned the moment. He lead that attack and snatched that game from us. Part choke, but make no bones about it the Pacers rained threes over and over again. They executed a come back. They snatched a win. If you don't see that thru the hurt thats not on me. The Sweatshirt thing? It was Funny **** last year. Was it a classy thing to do? NO. Brunson would not have done it. But here we are a year later and he backed it up. If they advance its a iconic moment for the franchise. Like Larry's 4 pt play and H20's shot. Knick fans still have those moments 25 years later cuz we have not won a chip. Neither have they. He caught some **** for that sweatshirt and now he backed it up and has his own moment. What do you have? "Idiot Nalod"? Be funny as **** if you saw "Idiot Nalod" tee shirts pop up in your neighborhood now. They'd all be laughing at you. Take the loss like a man. Dignify yourself.

Cringe worthy sanctimonious post -- YUCK.

Yes, CHandler had a hissy fit and started calling me "The idiot Nalod".
If calling one out for not taking the high road is "Sanctimonious" then so be it.

Brunson has had more than you can count lol

KAT had a monster game last night and also had insane clutch game winning buckets vs DET in game 3.

I'd also add that Kat has to wait for someone to give him the ball - Jalen rarely does even when working pick/roll together.

Pacers had no answers for Kat who was 11-17 and 4-8 from 3 but we went to Jalen 95% of time down the stretch.

Knicks need more KAT

Pacers have better defensive answers for Jalen than they do for KAT. KAT is a more willing passer too. Get KAT going early.

Have other guys bring ball up. Jalen is sacrificing 8 second on shot clock nearly every possession. Pass it forward

KAT has absolutely played to expectations . Has won me over. Just has to stay away from some of his dumb fouls.

Has to pull his hands back as if he’s guarding passing lanes ( even if he’s not)

That’s what they have Mitch doing and his stupid fouls are way down

I feel like the regular season prepared me for any outcome.

We could lose the next three games, or win the next four. Neither would surprise me.

I’ll have to adjust my prediction of Knicks in 4

We learn our lesson and win in 5!

I still feel physically ill.

Intellectually I feel like the team will move past this, but we were exposed to pure torture. Its unkind.

Honestly...this was a wake up call....either this slap and the face and Hali with the choke sign will make them get serious..like losing Game 5 in BOS and blowing out BOS in 6 & losing Game 5 at home and clinching in Game 6 on the road.

If they don't play mad like they allowed themselves to get punked the other night...honestly my first reaction is F@ck them....... they're not ready with this group to take that next step...hope that is not the case...

Agree.. and if the historic collapse in game 1 doesn’t lead to a game 2 win.. the series will be over. One for the record books. Still not over it. I do expect the Knicks to win tomorrow to tie up the series.

heartbreak, but so much went IND's way there for them to win. They never give up give them all the credit. But Nesmith hit some really difficult, borderline prayer shots. We missed FT's, and that Hali bounce was incredibly lucky.

IND is very beatable for us, we obviously should have won that game, and going back to last years playoffs we've handled them just about every game where we had any kind of health.

Gotta bounce back, season on the line tonight. And I think we will.

It gets weirder the more I think about it.

An insanely lucky high bounce off the rim...check
A missed goal-tend...check
A missed out of bounds call...check
A lost challenge that could have been called as a foul for NY for several different reasons, but wasn't....check.
A basically unparalleled series of hits from 3 point range...check

Put together with some poor decisions making, tired defense and a lot of literal slipping.

I guess that's what it takes to lost a 14 point lead in 2.5 minutes. When it's not your day, it's not your day.

I was listening to NBA radio about a week ago, and I think it was Sam Mitchell who was saying that winning the way they did in Boston, with the reaction from the fans and the city, and the Knicks becoming the kings of the town, everyone singing their praises and naming streets after them, was probably the most dangerous thing that could have happened for them. They basically had 4-5 days to get pampered with praise and have everyone tell them they are the greatest things on earth. We know this team responds best after they get slapped in the face. They don't respond well to success all the time which is why we can never close out a 3-1 series and usually get walloped in game 5s.

Although I don't think he was right all the way because we played extremely well to give ourselves a 99.7% chance to win with less than 5 mins left, maybe we needed another slap in the face like Game 5 vs Boston.

I hope and pray we can blow them out tonight and get momentum back on our side. It's not hyperbole to say the season is on the line tonight. Falling down 0-2 at home and our chances of winning the series fall to about 10-15% probably.

Honestly if we don't win tonight we don't deserve to win the series. You gotta win this one.

We came out and did what we had to do... for 45 minutes. But IND is really good at causing late game havok, give them all the credit in the world. yes you need some luck to do what they did and they certainly got it, but thats who they are.

Its funny they probably outscored us by about 30 points the 1st 4 minutes of the game and the last 4 minutes, so we gotta do a better job there.

Yes season absolutely on the line tonight, if we lose, we weren't meant to have this. Like the TNT crew said, this might be the best chance at a Knicks championship in some of these players careers, IND is VERY beatable. Losing to OKC would be one thing, but losing to IND would feel like blowing it.

Yea Indiana did the same exact thing to Milwaukee and Cleveland. 7-9 point leads blown in less than a minute with all of them. This is part of their identity and we weren't ready for just how much of a blitzkrieg they can create at the end of a game.

I am hopeful we can win game 2 but there few things that need to happen make free throws, play precious, shammet and wrght. Don’t let obi go off and limit there 3 point shooting they don’t have a Tatum or brown like players.

I have decided not to listen to tnt and abc pre game, halftime, or post game coverage there hatred for the knicks is very unnecessary childish behavior. The media as whole has acted very childish and very unprofessional over 1 game. We have espn, foxsports, the ringer, and multiple other acting very stupidly. You guys wonder why Leon Rose or James Dolan don’t talk to media anymore it’s too much stupidity over reaction over game 1 of conference finals which this Knick organization over 25 years.
