I think they paid for the sins of ownership and the past administration. Beal is a good player, but you don't give a no-trade. He had all the leverage. That said, it's becoming clear why a teammate might want to punch Poole. I'm not condoning what Dray did, but I don't think Poole is completely absolved from the situation. He has earned the reputation of a team cancer.

Man, Pelicans have CJ McCollum out and don't start a PG and Kira Lewis can't even get minutes. Don't know what's going on there.

Heading up to Greensboro to see The Westchester Knicks this weekend play the Hornets Gleague team.
ROby and Toppin…………Place holds 5,000, not a bad seat. Nalod scored courtside tickets. Two for less than $200.

The few times I’ve watched K Lewis he doesn’t seem like a pg at all — no feel. Wants to go north/south as fast as possible with no plan and not sure on his shooting either.

Pelicans have lots of talent outside the big 3 Zion, Ingram, CJ —— sitting there with Valincunas, Murphy, H Jones, D Daniels, J Hawkins and J Alvarado but no true lead PG.

Not that IQ is a true PG but he’s always seemed like a potential fit for N.O. given some of the wing talent we could get back. Me personally I love watching H Jones play / defend.

NOLA would do that in a heartbeat but no way should we ever.

Herb is a nice role player, but he's just that and he cant shoot. we cant have another non shooter. Grimes is better even if Jones is a bit longer.

And IQ is what Dyson would dream of becoming.

People are underrating IQ here, he's averaging 23/5/5 PER 36 and can handle the ball AND defend and has the length/wingspan to defend multiple positions. Not many two way guards like him in the league.

I think the context of the discussion is if IQ is going to be moved by the front office due to the unwillingness to sign him to a huge deal or id IQ wants to be moved for more playing time. For me I'd rather just give IQ 36 mins a game. Neither DDV or Grimes are a reason to deprive IQ any time. But should the team need to trade him

It's the same ankle too. I feel bad for Ball. I doubt he plays Tues against us which is good news for the Knicks but this is still bad news for basketball. I hope he is OK
