As for Curry and Westbrook . . . I keep thinking Westbrook is going to toast Curry but that has seldom happened. Curry vs. Westbrook stats tend toward Curry. Although, yes, at times Westbrook can take Curry one-on-one, Curry is a slightly smarter, slightly better team player. Their shooting stats aren't that far apart but Curry's crazy shots end up causing more overall defensive problems for OKC than Westbrook's drives to the basketball cause problem for GS. Anyway, even though Westbrook has been playing amazing ball, I'd say Curry has the edge.

This will probably be the best exciting series in the 2016 postseason
Im looking forward to Westbrook out playing Curry each game

Aiiiiight !!!
Westbrook - 40 min, 27 pts (7-21), 6 rb, 12 ast, 7 stl, and 3 TO
Curry ----- 40 min, 26 pts (9-22), 10 rb, 7 ast, 3 stl, and 7 TO

My opinion .. Westbrook has been the best athletic all-around PG in the NBA the past 6 seasons

nobody argues with westbrooks athleticism. As far as a consistent basketball player, he is nowhere close to curry at this point.

Last night it was a tale of two halfs.

I do have to admit that westbrook has played way beyond my expectations of him but he is still a bit too feast or famine and also relies too much on his athleticism which can be an issue as he ages.

The gap between Curry and Westbrook is not nearly as wide as you make it out to be. You may not like the way he plays but he has been a top 5 talent in this league for the last couple of seasons. Athleticism may catch up with him later in his career, but what does that have to do with the way he is playing today?

I may not have liked westbrook but he has certainly grown on me. He still has a long way to go in regards to consistency to be in curry's class. This series will obviously be a big barometer but either way, I don't think that his game has the longevity of a player like curry since Westbrook is not a great shooter and relies heavily on his freaky athleticism. Sort of like MVP-Rose.

Today, he is definitely playing great and may even be the mvp of the playoffs (lebron?). Lets see if we see first half westbrook or second half westbrook for the rest of this series.

Love for PHil to get his hands on him and him be our alpha dog as the tip of the triangle! He'll need to work on some fundamentals and get that shot down but 7th ave awaits him!!!

I think that rumor is from Batum's camp.

Don't get me wrong, I love Westbrook but . . . I agree with mreinman that, overall, Curry's better. They are my #1 and #2 PGs in the league . . . and, yes, I think Westbrook is better than Paul, Lillard, Lowry, and Conley.

It's going to be an interesting series . . . GS has to win tonight, I think, to have a solid chance. Going down two games against OKC and then trying to win in OKC is not a good situation. Doh. FWIW, I think the front court matches are going to be more important than Westbrook vs. Curry. I'm not sure GS can win without Bogut, Barnes, Greene, and Ezeli figuring how to slow down Kanter, Ibaka, Adams, and Durant. If Ezeli gets it together and manages to play solid defense, if Bogut can actually play more than 10 minutes a game, if Barnes can roll back a year . . . GS will stand a much better chance.

Looks like GS figured it out . . . might change but GS up by 20 in the 3rd. Westbrook still playing out of his mind but, whew, Curry is dropping 3s. GS defense against the OKC bigs looks much better.

And . . . they are mixing it up in ways that are confusing to OKC . . . playing Ezeli, Barbosa, Livingston, Curry, and Green, for example.

Bad game for OKC. This feels like a seven game series. But we shall see. Kerr is really good at making adjustments.

"westbrook is not playing out of his mind at all"

Well, yes, he did basically give up after the Curry outburst but for a while there he was missing shots but still balling. He had 13 assists, maybe 8 by the half. He wasn't a slouch. So, okay, maybe well within his mind but still not bad :)

"Kerr is really good at making adjustments."

Yeah, not just Kerr though, the whole team is good at adjustments. This isn't working? Well, let's try Livingston and Mo'. Now, Iggy and Ezeli. I tend to think GS will win this series largely because they can play more styles of ball than OKC can . . . they can make "adjustments" just to make OKC work harder.

GS is deeper and also plays much much much smarter basketball. OKC plays lots of adhoc one on one ball.

SMH ..
Hold on .. Curry n Klay just got on the map 3 years ago after being coached by Mark Jackson.
Westbrook was in the FINALS 4 years ago ..
Com'on .. OKC had a good chance to win a ring if Harden had resign

Yeah, GS has longer depth off their bench than OKC plus the long rotation can perform 3 type of system .. I'm testing Billy Donovan's strategic strategy for 3 wins in the series .. keeper or

Kyrie with an awful game. Another guy that I think is super talented but missing lots of bball iq. His shots tonight were plain horrible.

Bismark was sick.

Cory J's defense was phenomenal. Toronto's defense was stifling.

Would be fun if Toronto won the next game.

Missed the game because we are at Canandaigua lake at my brother in laws place and he only has basic cable. I am a bit frustrated with the nba because you can't even get games on the radio anymore. I thought ABC had the Saturday games.

No. We are in his 'guest house'. He pays for it but his router doesn't work. I check in on my phone but the nhl had a playoff game on and fox had a mlb game on. ABC has been broadcasting Saturday games. Not sure why this wasn't on. Also, games aren't on the radio anymore. No ota broadcasts and advertising on uniforms is a bad look in my opinion.
