Ridiculous night from Melo. I thought he was going to break 50 in the 3rd quarter.
Glad to get the win, with or without Miami at 100%. We've already beaten the team with Wade and LeBron twice. It was a trap game, glad we survived.

Miami held to 2 points over the final 6:42.

Tell Greg Popovich that.

after i tell him he is going to wave 4 rings in my face.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

What does that have to do with 2012-2013?

Chicago seems to be looking like they might get the 6th seed. Holding onto second in the east becomes much more important now. Great win. Nothing like beating the heat 3/4.

Beating them 4/7 will be even better.

Beating them 4/4 will be preferred.

We have a very good chance. And to be honest, the straw that breaks the camels back will be JR. If he takes it to the whole he is the deciding factor. He needs 10 FT's a game, not like last night.

Shouldve been 4/4 if Woodson didnt play into Miamis hand in the 4th and bench Amare who was dominating to go back to Tyson who was playing terribly and Melo at the 4

What does that have to do with 2012-2013?

he has carte blanche to do or say whatever he wants. woodson doesn't have that luxury. he has to beat everyone and make sure that his team has forged an identity that can withstand adversity. and he has to drill it into melo to not be conceited or infatuated with himself.

Okay...you do know this is Woodson's first full season with the Knicks, right?

Can we save the eulogies for the Woodson era after the 1st round exit?

we are going to win the first round. the celts have nothing left in the tank and even if garnett returns it's knicks in 6. it's the second round that the real test begins. if the knicks lose the first round everybody is going to be very upset.

That display of jumpshooting was easily a top 3 all time performance of any Knick I have ever seen. It was like watching Allan Houston again.

Like Allan and a young Larry Johnson mixed

If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

That was my point last night, make somebody else beat you and let Melo get his. I have to believe that's the strategy coach Spoelstra had. Unfortunately for him Wade and Lebron wasn't his finishers.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

great win for the Knicks. Simply because they needed it. #2 is huge. Its all about the standings at this point and not facing the Heat (assuming we advance) till the ECF. If that happens Knicks will really have validated how they built this team. The east is very weak, but you make the NBA final 4 and thats a damn good season bottom line. Time will tell.

Very Good Post. Its great that melo put on a show last night BUT the most important thing is that our win streak is intact and we are gunning for the #2 seed

Hmm, to be fair weren't you the person that posted a few days ago that injuries are an 'excuse', when I mentioned our performance this season despite all the injuries? Come on man, just savour a win- treat yourself!
