Yeah I just saw 7 for 15 and was surprised. Definitely didn't feel like a good floor game by him. And yes he should pass up some semi open shots at times as a point guard.
It did seem like 7 of 15 for me- people just started souring on Felton so they ignored all the good he was doing- a few posters have been constantly pushing 'Felton is a scrub', 'Novak is a scrub' and 'Tyson is terrible this year', but they've been doing it so regularly it gives the illusion that it's the majority opinion.
Even games where he's shooting badly (this wasn't one of them) Felton is one of those players (like JR) who can still make timely hoops even if they've missed 10 in a row. Felton is what he is- inconsistent. He plays some games better than he is, and sometimes worse than he is. His stats fluctuate from month to month.
Can't believe we won this game after the first half- phew! One things for sure, as gutsy a win as this turned out to be, we're starting to look rougher by the day (injuries and tiredness I think)- anyone who watched the past few games and doesn't think we need Amar'e is high.
it felt that way because he was 3-8 in the second half which is right in line with how he shoots
